its ok, CO panic over, and no, there was no way I was going back on, not least because I would have had to take the kids (all 2 and a half of them LOL) with me.
When hubby got back he went down, brought our detector to their house - it read 0, brought their detector back to our house - it continued to beep. So he called Gritish Gas as a precaution, they said to turn off the gas at the main - which hubby did - and they sent out an engineer within 15 minutes and checked the house, said no leaks and no CO so they said it must be a faulty detector. So they have left it where it was, plugged in etc and all should be fine. Thing is I am convinced the detector wasn't even there when I was in the house last week, I wonder if their parents have been in or somethingweird. Anyway, as I say, panic over.
So I got a fair amount of school clothes labelling done, in between helping with playdoh. Got trousers, jumpers, bags and cups done. Just got tshirts and socks to do.
Do I need to bother doing pants ? I am guessing not, he shouldn't ever have them off unless he wets himself in which case I assume the teacher will put them in his bag or whatever ? He's only 4, its his first term at "big" school.
poohbear - enjoy your meal out
Shirley - Lb - that's a good one! I knew it wasn't the battery as it was plugged into the mains! Altho maybe there is a backupAt least we know the house isnt going to blow up

Well another day drawing to a close.
This afternoon I got the rest of the jobs done:-
Sticking and glueing session with littles
Hoovered through
Made bread rolls
Made jam tarts with littles
Played "whats the time Mr Wolf" - wish i had never started this!
Tea made, scoffed and cleaned up after
Kitchen S & S
Phoned for job application form
Tomorrow I need to:-
Check meal plan for tea
Change our bedding (wimped out today due to constant drizzly rain)
Do bathroom (inc. wash shower curtain)
Hopefully take girls out for some fresh air
Do salsacise DVD
Constant drizzle here all day despite my homepage telling me it was dry all day for out postcode. They have given dry tomorrow but who knows. Kids been cooped inside all week so even if it rains will dig out their all in one waterproofs and wellies and we can go for a walk puddle splashing - unfortunately I dont have the waterproof gear so will look like a drowned rat:rotfl:
Got ironing to do but frankly cannot be bothered:p . Have just scoffed a jam tart and am struggling with the urge to go eat more - blooming weather is not helping me stick to my "healthy living plan", got an urge for a glass of wine too but I shall resist :A .
Pollybear hope the bank issue gets sorted soon, complete nightmare!
Off for a mooch around anything to avoid eating:o0 -
I have been in to work today, so no flying yet, but I have the evening to myself as OH is out. I will attack the bathroom (it is downstairs) tonight, as I don't want to wake DD and DS by doing too much upstairs. I might play catch up with bits and bobs from Monday and Tuesday, but not too bad. Our bedroom tomorrow, should be easy, then kids rooms Friday.

I've finished!! Kids stuff all labelled ready for the new year! This fly-lady stuff is wonderful - I've always been faffing around the night before school frantically sewing and writing names on stuff and this year all finished 2 weeks early! Tomorrow DD1 is off to Elstree to see a television programme being filmed so am hoping to get bathrooms cleaned and some shopping done once I've got a menu planned. DH has just brought me a glass of wine (in a sulk 'cos we're losing the football apparently) so am now going to go through the mega holiday plan I printed off the net to see what I need to do to be ready for Xmas!!!!!:rotfl: Off to find chocolate to keep me company in my quest to be a domestic goddess!0

I am now off to find ideas for DD's birthday party. It isn't until November, but once I am back at work I know I will not have enough time to do all I would like.

Jjef hope your DDs first day in P1 goes well (is that reception class ? )
Poohbear hope you've had a lovely evening
GingerGirl I've done it again, read your post, went to Asda and thought must remember the clothes pen, what did I forget, argh, poo!
Lbn well done on catching upof course I don't mind, we all have to do what works for us and if that means switching well fair enough, we all have lives aswell and can't always do what others are
JillD pleased you got it sorted, I'd have been worried myself, was more worried about you going in there, at least it's all sorted now. I only named my sons spare pants and trousers he had in his drawer incase of accidents, him being bigger than an average kid his age (about a foot taller for a start) they didn't have 'spares' big enough, he was in 7+ year olds stuff at 4. Unless you are leaving spares, I wouldn't bother with pants.
Shirley, sorry to hear he's being a pain
Dusty sorry it's been nice here too after a bit of rain this morning, hugs as I know kids can be double the PITA when they are stuck inside
Hugs to all others who could do with one this evening. Went shopping earlier as I had to go to where DP was with the cars because he forgot coats for him and DS2 and it was cold where they were, so thought may aswell go to the Asda there, not had a good wander round a supermarket for ages and DS1 did behave well for a change, rewarded with bonus points of course. Have had a bit of an indulgence with DP, chicken satay sticks followed by steak and a yummy chocolate brownie cake with chocolate mousse for desert. Thought we deserved it after a dampner got put on yesterday.
Going to bed soon, going to look to see if Woolworths do any online codes before bed. I don't think they do but worth a try. See you all in the morning. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
lil_me I was assuming I'd have to leave spares as he is hopeless at the whole toilet thing and come January when he is fulltime I am expecting a change of pants a day. Maybe I am being pessimistic though. So I think I will buy a packet of 5 grey pants just for spares for his bag and label those. Thanks for helping me decide!
Have had a lovely evening shopping on Amazon to try and spend a £25 voucher I got for my birthday (back in May  ). Its really hard deciding what to buy! So far I am up to:
- Beyond Toddlerdom £3
- a breastfeeding book £3
- wireless mouse for my laptop £3 (bargain!)
- new Ash CD - £7
Strill got £8 to spend :j
If anyone has any fantastic ideas for what to spend the last £8 on let me know! As long as its not teatowels, dusters or anything FLYing related LOLJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Night all - done most of my flying today. Still raining! Like you shell BBC says dry here tomorrow.
We are planning on going to Chessington tomorrow to use our free tesco vouchers before OH starts work next week and before they run out. Promised the kids we will go even if it is raining. I'll 'see' you all tomorrow evening xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bad - checked bank online (which I do every day) and some little s*** has spent £1.800.77 on my switch card on travel money in Camberley. I live in the west country. I've been on the phone to the bank and they've cancelled my card and set up a fraud investigation but who knows how long that will take. I'm not overdrawn today but I will be tomorrow. They say that any charges will be refunded if they are due to the fraud but I don't feel sure about that. I think I might cancel the money going to e-savings which is due to go in 2 days. I can always set it up again when it's all sorted out.
I have read of several people on MSE having similar amounts fraudulently taken on their cards by travel money in Camberley. You will be refunded and should not worry about charges etc on your account, easy I say but trust me it will get sorted. It is a horrible feeling though when despite all precautions it happens to you.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
