:grouphug: - to all in need! (New to smilies so hope I clicked the right one!)
Waiting for dinner to be ready (hopefully in 5 - so sneaked back on here). Weather here is bleugh - having been at work today can't now get myself motivated to do anything much else! Managed a chat and hug with DD1 (aged 9 - so hugs are v v rare now), DS is full of energy so sent him out in the rain in the garden to count slugs. DD2 is still full of hugs and kisses and has just 'tidied up' her dollies. There goes the timer - dinner is served!0 -

I have an old hen of about 6 years old and she was a pain, kept attacking the youngsters so i got more younger ones. She has really quietened down. We had a couple of cockerels who thought they would like to live in our garden, we soon got rid of them-4.15 the crowing started:rotfl:
Are you anywhere near Edinburgh?!?
I *think* we have found her a home about 10 miles away. One of my ex-colleagues is asking her sister over the next couple of days. She was a bit squawky today (hen not colleague or sister!!), but as since I've phoned my colleague there has been very little noise - I reckon hen overheard and is mending her ways  ! If she does go, she'll be fine as she will be with 4 other hens who are allowed to free-range big style. It'll be a shame though as it is the first time I've had to admit defeat.
Of course the big question is then: do I stick with two hens or do I increase the flock to four??
I'll be back later with more on-topic stuff!
Cheers for now

I have been in to work today, so no flying yet, but I have the evening to myself as OH is out. I will attack the bathroom (it is downstairs) tonight, as I don't want to wake DD and DS by doing too much upstairs. I might play catch up with bits and bobs from Monday and Tuesday, but not too bad. Evening folks,
I've been very lazy today Fly-wise. Managed one washload and S&S'd the kitchen and that's about it really! Took 2 of the 4 bags to the charity shop, had a look for a suitable door curtain and came away with a black Angora shrug cardi. Oops.
Spent a lovely long afternoon at my friend's folks house. I always love it there, there's always people coming and going and various random children to play with and endless cups of tea in the garden and dogs to fuss. A happy, sunny afternoon.
It's glorious here too so I might just have an hours Flying in the garden to fill my garden bin up before it gets collected on Friday.
I'll play catch up on Friday for today's list. Honest.
Pollybear, a similar thing hapened to my Bro lately - some one spending on his card for flights to Italy miles from where he lives. They refunded him straight away. It's more common than we think but unsettling all the same. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

I've just put wash load number 5 out on the line  I don't expect it to dry as the garden is now in the shade but it can at least blow and I'll put it out tomorrow. My ironing pile is now waist high so I'm going to tackle that - but only because DD & OH need trousers for tomorrow :rotfl: I'll do what I can be bothered to do and leave the rest. It's not as if it's going anywhere  Might see if OH wants to tag-team on it later but we'll see, I doubt it.
Right, off to sort out my email again (facebook email notifications can be a bit of a pain in the backside!), have a peek at some other websites and then I might as well do the ironing. No-one to play games with tonight
:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Does anyone else live with a bloke who doesn't bother to look in the dishwasher to see whether or not it's clean or dirty ? This morning when I left the kitchen was spotless, I come home to find plates, cups, spoons, glasses, rubbish all over the kitchen worktops !! grrrr I can't wait until he moves out, it'll probably take me about 10 minutes to do each room.
Wedding photos are now sorted, I've now been told no posing ones what so ever, but just to take the usual 1001 that I take. Though I do have a request for one of all the kids, and someone else that I met at the hen night would like some of her and her little one. All in all, it makes my life a lot easier, as I don't have to worry about what I need to take.
pollybear - sorry to hear someone has done that with your money, I've had it happen to me twice, but both times thankfully it hasn't been for a huge amount
JillD - are you sure it doesn't mean Low Battery ? Take a quick look at this
http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/raggletag/45818.html
And as soon as got in the door, I was greeted by the high-pitched beep of the Carbon Monoxide detector!! I was freaked out for a minute there, worried about the cats. But they were both downstairs and looked fine, so I took a closer look at the detector. The digital readout was flashing what I thought was "L6" which I took to mean Level 6, so I was worried I'd have to get out of the house for the night till I figured out what was going on. But then I noticed under the readout was an abbreviation key, and "L6" was actually supposed to be "Lb"... short for "Low battery".
Right 30 minutes until Heros, so time for a 30 minute challenge I think and see how much I can cross off this list

I have managed most of my list today apart from the windows, four loads of washing washed and dried and waiting on an iron - most of it is bedding which has gone straight back on the bed with out being ironed;)
Not sure how I will keep up with tomorrows list, so I will not post one except from dailies - DD2 starts in P1 tomorrow and I am feeling a bit strange tonight as she was going to bed. OH has taken tomorrow and Friday off but has ordered a skip to help tackle all the weeds and mess in the garden so I may help him to keep myself occupied.
Night all I am away to treat myself to a long soak and an early night.0
