Welcome, welcome!
Thanks for reading and for the words of encouragementI'm sure we will have a roller-coaster ride with my ups and downs. I try to stay as positive as possible though.

Friday lunchtime and it's time for a quick update. I found this morning that my new linked saver has been opened so I have been able to start my 3-6 months wages challenge with a £30 deposit, this is very miniscule in comparison to what I need to save up but the challenge has no set timescales and to be frank I need to bust this debt.
My healthcare scheme payment cheque has cleared today so I will send a payment to barclaycard tomorrow as I think I have paid enough already today :rotfl:
A weekend of sorting the garden lies ahead (such fun) so we can try and get it something like normal before the bad weather really hits and the utility room floor becomes awash with muddy paw prints, bits of grass and the odd slug (eugh!)
No spendy plans in the pipeline for this weekend except for my long awaited hair cut (March was my last one so I think it's well overdue) I have coloured it myself so saved £60 there!
Tuesday is pay day so the bigger payments and PAD's will start again (until holiday time) I really do think I'm beginning to become obsessed... but there are worse things to be addicted to than moneysaving and busting debt aren't there?
TTFN

Time for a little update...
The dogs have had me up since 4am (new time) so I have been super-productive online (can't get the hoover out at silly-o'clock :rotfl: )
In preparation to join the 'Make £10 a day in [month]' in November I have been through Aesop's post with advice and I've joined all I can think of!
* LuckyPhone
* Free Postcode Lottery
* The Selfie Lottery
* Swagbucks
All done through the referrals boards so others can benefit from my joining up. Must remember to check these daily to see if I am a winner and stake my claim!
I also tried to sign up to Pinecone but my browser crashed during registration and now it won't let me sign up...which is pants as I've read that it's really good at matching eligible surveys.
I've done all of the Swagbucks surveys I could do whilst I have been waiting for the world to wake up
I have made my PAD today (£5 to Halifax) and checked all accounts. I could't understand why my Halifax balance had gone up and then realised that it was interest added
Never mind... there will be less added interest next month that's for sure!
I forgot to mention that good old Asda have 'rolled back' the price of my hair colour to just £3.50I was super-chuffed to have saved even more money on the trip to the hairdressers. Maybe I should stock up...?
Anyway, enough for now I'm off to toast some crumpets for breakfast, hoping the smell may wake up Hubby!

Happy Monday everyone...
Today's not been too bad, a definite no spend day which is a bonus! I have joined the 'take your lunch to work' thread. I know it's almost the end of October but at least then I won't forget to join in November. So, 5 days of packed lunches this week... can I do it? It'll save at least £15 if I can manage it.
Tomorrow is pay-day for me which is long awaited (just so I can throw more payments to the debts) HOWEVER; here's the good news... I have £70 left in the bank and £35 left in my purse. That's a gooooood month end for me! :j :j :j :j :j
I will leave the £70 in the bank as a holiday buffer for the time being, but it certainly means there'll be no holiday credit card spends.
Super-tired today so it'll probably be an early night - if the dogs will let me!

Yay! That IS a good day.
I think I'm going to join the £10 a day thread as well. I've had a couple of really tight months and I could use feeling like I'm being a bit more proactive in terms of prepping for Christmas.
I have to wait until Friday for payday - ah well.Not giving up
