I agree with all fo these
- Cashback (i.e. Quidco)
- Free Vouchers (Pigsback etc)
- Comp Wins (at RRP)
- Freebies at RRP (done by % for sample size products)
but im not goign to include this one in mine i dont think
- Any unspent weekly budget
plus...
-survey sites
-loyalty points (or the price of stuff bought with them- i.e. a free holiday bought with tesco vouchers):T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
what will the grocery challenge be?
i think it will vary person to person, depending upon wether youre in halls, catered halls, live alone in your own place or (like me) live with my oh in our own place?:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -
I think maybe like someone else said, we will have to set our own budgets for shopping. As long as it is realistic!Student MoneySaving Club member 017!0

Yeah - I can't have a set budget for shopping as I'm a single mum with 2 under 13's so it does vary a lot but I do try and keep in under a fiver a day for all of us.
I don't think I'll be able to keep up with the make a £1000 from nothing either as this year is just going to be so full of study and teaching that I'll be just keeping my head above water by managing the household budget, cooking, cleaning, childcare stuff; I won't have time to do much comping and freebie hunting.
I tend to get BA miles with my clubcard points to pay for free flights - Currently at 40,000 miles and saving towards 100,000 so me and BF can go to the States.
I do pigsback about once a week when I get a free 30 mins to do all the quizzes and clickthroughs and go via Nectar for Ebay and Amazon as I also get Nectar points from doing TNS surveys - just saving them for something vague in the future.
This year shouldn't actually be too hard financially as I get my Teaching bursary of £6000, plus they've given me an extra bursary of £1500 for some reason and nearly £9000 of grant and loan combined, and also 68/week CTC. This has got to be the richest I've been for about 9 years!!!! Then I'll get a shock when I have to get a real job teaching in a college part time(until kids have left school) and also having to pay back the 25000+ I've accumulated in Student loans!:eek::eek:
I did find out today that QS give you 20% student discount with the NUS extra card - on sale stuff as well - Just got the kids some clothes and it came to 5.60:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Noli nothis permittere te terere

click on the above link to sign up for you gov. you only get paid 50p to 2 pound for every survey but.....
for everyone you refer, you get paid the same as they earn in the first 3 months......
my idea would be to sign up, refer everyone in your student/uni email system. if you sent it to say 50 students and each of those sugned up from your referal link and made say £10 in the first 3 months, then you would get £500.
note. no bank details needed or asked for, cheques get sent in the post and you are just getting paid for online surveys that take less than a minute. once you have signed up go to refer a friend and you will have a link to send round like the one above.0 -
