Did two transactions yesterday (at the same store) which went through as contactless without problems.
Looked online this morning and both transactions are showing in pending as CHIP & PIN
Just as I thought it was beginning to run smoothly....................
Doesn't appear to be any online way of contacting TSB, or is there?
Mine all seem to be showing as Contactless so far!
I cant find an email or LiveChat so ringing them is the only option.
Ring about 3pm and I got straight through rather than wait in a queue!0 -
Pay it back into your account if you have too much.where_are_we wrote: »With 4 TSB cards between us and having to frequently reset with a cash withdrawal of £10 we found we had too much cash!0 -

All my contactless payments look exactly the same online as my C&P payments. How do you distinguish yours?0 -
Yes - but that takes time to go to a branch and deposit money and in the meantime you lose interest with cash doing nothing in your pocket - easier to get £5 out instead of £10 in the first place.0

Interest on £10 for a month is about 3p. So lost interest on a few tenners probably won't burn a hole into your finances. Surely you'll pass some bank or ATM that takes deposits in the process of a month....you may even be able to deposit cash using the ATM you just used to withdraw your tenner or fiver. Gosh, we've got so many first world problems.where_are_we wrote: »Yes - but that takes time to go to a branch and deposit money and in the meantime you lose interest with cash doing nothing in your pocket - easier to get £5 out instead of £10 in the first place.0 -

On my NatWest, all contactless transactions have a 'C' immediately after the date within the transaction.
However apologies, on my TSB i have only so far used for contactless! So cant be sure, but they all say CD within the transaction. Not sure yet though!0 -

Pending payments only are shown as either CHIP and PIN or Contactless on your statement page as shown below (on your statement it's a clickable link). However once a payment is shown as a confirmed payment you cannot tell which is which.

Thanks, must have a look if/when I use my TSB contactless again.0

Not very MSE but I've given up with the 5% contactless cashback. Transitions continually fail. It's easier for me to use one of my stoozing credit cards.0

I never even started, despite having a quite a few TSB contactless cards.shortcrust wrote: »Not very MSE but I've given up with the 5% contactless cashback.
I simply don't do enough spending(!). And the grocery shopping I do do already gets 10% discount...and very occasionally 20%, and when I re-fuel I spend £70-80 plus and can't be bothered splitting it up and re-fuelling more often.0
