Lost 4lbs so far, prob put it on again now, just went to do a mystery shop which is never healthy whith my OH. There was no extra payment ontop of the food but im not goint to complain about a free meal am I?

Bought 4 christmas presents today for elderly relatives, nice warm scarves reduced from £16 to £3 each that i know they will love.

Otherwise no unplanned spending which is amazing for me, i even went into boots and came out empty handed!

Ive been som busy working for the last few days that i have had 3 no spend days in a row. Im going out shopping today though so i will have to keep a check on the Grocery Challenge budget.

Ill also be lookng out for bargin christmas presents while im there.

As its the start of the month im just watching the direct debits go out for the next few days, then i will know exactly how much money i have left for the month. hopefully i will be able to overpay plenty onto the barclay card this month, i would love to get it under £1000 but im not sure if its possible. Still i will do my best.

not doing bad on my grocery challenge so far this week, i spent £37.23 today which is a bit more than i had planned, but my OH gave me £30 as we are having his boss and some others over for a meal. Im making salmon for 6 so i dont think i have done to badley.

I made sure to buy lots of basic stuff from sommerfield and seemed to have a really full trolley.

I managed to resist spending any other money, so it will just be the petrol i used as an extra.

Im not sure how the diet will be going this week, will find out on thursday. I have ordered a £10 voucher from pigsback yesterday. Im waiting for 5000 points to be added in a few weeks. remembered to cancell the love film trial in time. Im still trying to sign up to experian for the points but the signup page doesnt seem to work. what ever i do it wont accept either my home or mobile number!

Im really struggeling with money saving today, i wet out shoppin last night as i wanted something new to wear for a wedding im going to soon. I was walking around and knew that i could use something i already have. My clothes are quite big on me as i have lost over 2 stone in the last year and havent bough all that much since.

I knew i shouldnt be shopping so i looked at all the amazing clothes they had and went home empty handed. I was so upset that i couldnt buy anything, and believe me i know how pathetic this sounds compared with the situations some people are in.

I went to bed thinking at least i will feel better in the morning that i had saved some money that i can add to my debts at the end of the month. But no im sitll upset at not getting a new dress, and the thought that it will be several years till i can really treat myself again.

Im trying to tell myself that when i do get to my debt free date and can have the occasional shopping trip it will mean so much more as it will actually be with my own money. It just doesnt seem to be helping today.

sorry for the long rant, Im going to look at my clothes, tell myself there are more important things in life and cheer up. thanks if your still reading

Ive been working so much recently i havent had time to update my diary, on the positive side i also havnt had time to spend much money.

Just seen SS's diary that he is under 15000! as he started with around the same debt as me it helps to keep me positive, so thanks SS!

My OH has suprised me with a trip away for the weekend so we are going thurs to sunday. He hasw payed for the whole thing, im so lucky to have him supporting me, most men would prob run a mile with debts like mine.

Im still doing ok with the shopping budget, will have to update the sig, looking forward to making those overpayments at the end of the month.

Im also doing ok with the christmas shopping. I found a really nice aelf adhesive photo album in a sale. Ill get loads of photos and bits for in it for my OH for christmas from this weekend away.

I have started making up my hampers now, finished the first one for my best friend. i made it a movie night in basket it looks really good and only cost me around £8.00 in total.

Im busy putting together an album of my trip away for my OH, i should get the pics back tomorrow so i will be able to finish it off. My vouchers from pigsback have arrived £50 worth so I can get some more shopping done tomorrow.

im looking forward to starting my bank shifts soon but i have to wait till there is an induction day is available, im waiting for them to let me know.

i have phoned this morning and cancelledmy old phone contract s in 30 days that will be anothe £30 a month saved. At the end off this month i will have to re-do my SOA as it feels like it has changed lots since i started this diary.
