Current account interest

Thinking about moving £2000 from my ISA and opening a TSB Classic Plus account. I understand I will have to pay tax on the interest I earn, how do I go about paying the tax. Is it done automatically or do I have to fill in a Self Assessment tax form?

Sorry I thought putting money into a current account which pays interest was part of stoozing but i guess your correct it's not the best place to post this.0

Stoozing is about making free money off credit cards - Interest on deposits in conventional accounts is hardly that, nor are questions about paying tax.
The forum linked above is by far the best place to ask.0 -
No problem, I asked in the forum linked above. Thanks0
