Last month wasn't an epic fail if you are dealing with other stuff. Good luck for this month's targets. Don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself though xx
Thank you jwil for your words of wisdom as always.freedomby30 wrote: »hi i saw you want excel on your tablet - try kingsoft its free for tablet and phone.
Ooh, thanks for this.
I have just tried to download it but I haven't enough space apparently, so I will have to sort out my storage-or lack of.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Hi, just been reading through your diary. You have achieved so much and I love all the challenges you set yourself. Am going to try some of those myself! You certainly shouldn't beat yourself up - you are an inspiration
Thank you chumpy. How lovely of you to say that.
Good luck with your challenges too.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Well, I've got off to a flying start with no spend days this month. I have managed 3 already-Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Even though I spent £2 on Friday, I feel that I can still class it as a no spend day really as I found a fiver in one of my coat pockets. I had no idea it was there.
Got lots to do this month. The house is looking decidedly messy, I need to catch up on washing too. I have been run down and unwell and I'm still trying to get over some kind of bug. Yuk!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Haven't managed any more no spend days so far this month but I have had a couple of low spend days where I only spent £3 each day.
Still got to catch up on the Kon Marie part of my target for November. Still need to make a couple of hundred quid too.
November is not a good month for me.
Well the house looks  so I had better get it sorted and I'm still catching up with washing!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

EF has taken a bit of a battering. Had to pay 2k out so now back to trying to get up to 2k.
On a more positive note I am back up to £600/£2000 already.
Sorted through some paperwork yesterday and now have a carrier bag full of docs to go through the shredder.
Slowly catching up with the washing. I did 3 loads yesterday and hopefully I will get another 3 or 4 loads washed and dried today. that's the plan.
Right, lots to do.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Shame about the emergency fund, but at least you had it! Well done on already getting £600 back in there though!
Hope things have calmed down a bit for you now xx"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks jwil.
Yes, thinks appear to be a little calmer, routine still needs a lot of work due to the many appointments and stuff going on. Work is a bit manic too!
I'm hoping things will have settled down by Christmas/new year.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Hi Tattycath - I've sloped off for a while and am now sloping back
.
Agree with Jwil - at least you had the emergency fund - and that's what it's for after all - so well done you for having it in the first place :T.
I know you have a huge amount on your plate and it's not surprising you have been run down and unwell, try to allow time for you to get rest, sleep and a bit of relaxation. Save something from your budget every so often for something for you - e.g. a massage if you like them, or just a day at a spa or anything like that, if you can manage it.
It won't be much consolation but I have completely given up on my November targets, due to abject failure. And I have far less everyday concerns than you (and sadly must admit to being a great deal lazier).
You're doing an amazing job.

Thank you peaceandfreedom.a massage or spa day sound great. Not too hot on the friends front though, so would be a bit lonely for one.
