Right, new month and I need to get some stuff done. So it's target setting time.
    To do:
    1) Paperwork-I think I have about 4 hours worth-maybe 6, it depends how long it takes me to get my head around it.
    2) declutter-either make £200 or get rid of 50 items, whichever happens first, that's my interim target. I'm trying to compensate for the unexpected expense of last month. So ideally I need to make £500+
    3) use cash back sites more
    4) kon Marie loads of stuff-at least 100 items need to go-i won't be individually listing them all on here though, too time consuming when I need to do loads of other stuff
    5) achieve 10 no spend days
    6) cut the grocery bill, I haven't done the final tally yet, but I know I failed miserably last month and I need to do much better
That'll do for now. Best get on with it,:)

Hi brizzle. All is well thanks. Work has a habit of getting in the way. I've been putting in loads of hours lately and what with various appointments and places we have to go to, it's all a bit manic round here!
My stuff is having to take a back seat until I get things sorted. I've still got irons in the fire and stuff in the pipeline so I still achieve my objectives-fingers crossed.
I hope things are well with you too. :)
I've been working this evening-all evening, so I'm just packing up and going to bed now. I'm shattered and ready for a good sleep. :)

  • Hi tattycath,

    Glad you're still with us!!
Work has been catching up with me too - early mornings and late nights!
So I've treated myself to a lie in this morning because I'm worth it.

I'll have to work til 10pm tonight to pay for it though. The joys of being self employed and working from home!!

Yes Thistle, I can totally relate to that. I slept in until half 8 today-until the postman knocked on the door!
I'm out this morning, then working this afternoon and evening to make up for it.
I've got a 'to do' list nearly as long as my arm!
    Right, best get sorted. :)
