Hope everything is ok tattycath, and sorry not a great start to the year.
Hope you had a good birthday.
Good luck with the targets for this year xx"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Low spend day today. I spent £3.50 in a charity shop.
Been sorting some stuff out today. I seriously need to start £b@ying again very soon. I have lots of ideas of things I would like us to achieve this year, I just need to sort out some money to do it.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Thank you.
More unexpected expense this weekend.
I'm busy sorting out my 'to do' list ready for next week (a week tomorrow). I really need to get stuff sorted and raise some well needed funds.
I hope to start at some point is week but life is so hectic at the moment that I can't commit to actually managing it.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

How are things, Tattycath? You have a lot on your plate so don't go overboard trying to get loads done.
Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.

Extremely busy at the moment. Hoping to 'make' time to sort something out next week. I did manage to get rid of a bag of clothes and a couple of bags of stuff to charity this week.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Made a start on the loft...again. Already got half a bin bag full and a car load to charity.
I've had a no spend day
I've also saved some money today. Dishwasher was playing up and I googled to find out what was wrong and I followed the instructions and...tadah! It's working.
Onwards and upwards.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

right, targets for 2016
1). pay 10k off the mortgage
2). Clear out the loft
3). Sell loads of my stuff I no longer need-this will raise much needed funds to achieve number 1).
4). Do some maintenance on house and/or garden
5). Finish some decorating
6). Save 4K emergency fund-only got £300 so far-things keep coming up so I need to use it.
7) save 3k projects fund (PF)
I think that's a good start for a list.
Let's get busy!GE 36 *MFD may 2043
