:T delighted for you lois so pleased that writing it all down is showing results.
pooh, your menu looks fine but it's hard to tell if it's Speed fruit. Lots of fruits are now just free foods so you need to make the right choices.
psycho, you could find that the exercise tones you up but that you don't lose weight. Why not try writing all your food down like lois did. You could lose half a stone before your dress fitting.
You're always lucky with the YS meg, must be right time and right place.
Miserable day here too denise. I anticipated it and got all the washing done yesterday. Glad you had a good weekend though and hope all syns were enjoyed then reining in is worth it.
Messed up Monday here again where we have to eat early if we want to eat together. So I'm planning Breakfast and Dinner (at about 3.30 p.m.) and then maybe have a snack late evening if I'm starving.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beanssausage casserole (onion, leek, mushrooms, cabbage, butter beans:T) with green beans and new potatoes.
Snack: soup? Cold meat?
Syns: scrape of spread, 2 for sausages and about 1.5 for a tiny bit of chorizo0 -
Hello everyone - I just wondered if I could ask you all a quick question? I had a general anaesthetic a week ago, although I have been following the plan (have been successful in the past). I have found that I have put on 2lbs since I started, so the little I lost in the first two weeks have gone back on. Getting to the point, does anyone have an idea if a GA can muck your system up? I have been constipated and things are only started getting back to normal there - sorry to be so graphic!
The depressing thing is other then this I've been really good which includes no wine for the last three weeks! Obviously I'm not after a medical opinion, but wondered if anyone else has been in the same boat.
Thanks guys, any reassurance would be helpful, as I am really deflated x
Yes is the answer. I had an operation in June and am only really getting back to normal everything now. I was very bloated after my operation. They say it takes 2 weeks for the anaesthetic to fully leave your system. It is frustrating but just keep doing what you can and it will come good in the end. I don't think you can put time on it, just variable per person.0 -

Weigh day for me today, not sure how I feel about it. I've been eating at work (done a few 12 hour shifts) however been on my feet ALL week, such a physical job, so I'm HOPING this will help counteract some of my bad decisions.
Time will only tell I guess.
Eating light today. Not that it will help.
Breakfast: Hi-Fi bar (3 SYNS)
Lunch: Little tin of spaghetti hoops and a sandwich thin (HEB)
Snacks: Fruit and beetroot
Skipping tea before weigh-in but will be having something after. Not sure what. Will see what the scales say.
I will be getting my bronze BM award this week tho. That may have helped
Will be back tonight to update.

Had to change my planned lunch today as the mixed bean goulash hadn't thawed. Was planning on making carrot & coriander soup tomorrow so made that earlier today instead. Have just had a bowlful with a toasted HEB thin.
Will now have goulash tomorrow lunchtime.
