What a lovely weekend we had weatherwise (apart from Sat morning when it was rather misty). Today is looking really grey and windy - don't think I'll bother doing any washing in the next couple of days!
Had far too many syns at the weekend (and not all alcohol either!) meaning I haven't got any left for today until Wednesday so I'll have to get a bit creative in the kitchen to include some flavour in my meals so I don't miss the syns.
Today will be a Green day (mainly because DH took the LO sweet chilli prawn noodles which I was going to have and so have changed today's plan!)
B - mushroom omlette; fruit
L - HM mixed bean goulash (from freezer); rice (which I need to cook)
D - 70g cooked chicken (HEB1); mash, brocolli, chard (from garden)
HEA will be milk
HEB2 will be a Warburtons WM thin

Morning all :-)
How'd the marathon go Spinkz - did you make it in one piece - hope the weather was nice to you :-)
Had a mixed weekend. Was good on Sat and thought I'd done much better on the S foods as had a fruit & yog for b'fast - until realised kiwi and grapes aren't S - will get there next time....!!!! Rest of day went well and came it at 14.5 Syns :-)
Sunday was a dif matter altogether - we went to London for a concert and a meal (as OH's b'day and he likes his classical music) - had Weetabix for b/fast and then the most delish lunch (sea bass on avocado with tortellini and samphire plus some other bits, including the odd flower or two - WOW! followed by stunning choc torte with blood orange sorbet -oh heaven) - knew it was going to be a flexible syns day, but don't even want to contemplate what it all came in at...but boy was it good.
So (hopefully) back on track again today....JP for lunch and Bacon/Mush pasta tonight!0 -

i imagine there was lots of butter, cream and alochol added to the one in France  that'll make anything taste good!paganflossy wrote: »:hello:

I did mine in the slow cooker, i think i did it on slow for 4-6 hours.. the gravy doesn't thicken as much though so you may have to take some out and simmer it separately to thicken.
Well as i was writing up my menu plan for today i realised it would be better as a red day than an EE .. so 2 hea's and b's..
B - Strawberries, yogurt, choc shot (0.5) granola (heb)
L - chicken, lots of pickles, cheese (hea) wholemeal roll (heb)
T - pizza frittata (peppers, onions, cheese (0.5 hea), salad, pickles
S - crisps (6) milk in tea (0.5hea) apple
have a good day.. xMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Morning all
Very happy to report in with the result of my weigh in this week, and after a weekend away and not being in full control of meals, I've managed to lose 2lb.:j I am so pleased, writing everything down is beginning to work.
Food at the weekend turned out to be SW friendly, we had a meal out in a pub with DS on Saturday night and I chose a fish dish that came with mashed potatoes and speed veg, there was some sauce but it was minimal, so probably only a few syns. I did have wine syns though. We ate at a Harvester before returning last night and I went for a 6oz rump steak with a plain jacket potato and peas, and I had all the free food from the salad bar, and a fruit salad with yogurt for dessert, so lots more speed food there. No alcohol last night as we had a 4 hour drive back, we got home at 1am so DH and I are both a bit bleary eyed today. This afternoon will be a quiet one, a bit of shopping and then feet up in front of the telly, catching up with Strictly!
I didn't have time to read any posts over the weekend so I've got a bit of catching up to do.
Back later, have a good week everyone.
