BEG You can use either baby button ones or sliced. I have used both, though normally sliced. Allow 30g of cheese per person. I didn't add anything else but black pepper. About 20 mins see the mushrooms cook and I put a lid on the dish. It would probably be nice with a little cooked onion or bacon. Meg added garlic.

    So STS

One of these weeks I will get a loss.

Forgot to post my menu plan earlier. It's going to an EE day as usual for the weekend.

B - fry up as had a couple of rashers of bacon that needed using up (was originally going to have scrambled eggs on toast so HEB saved:D)
    L - crackers & garlic & herb cheese spread (HEB + 2 syns)
    D - smoked haddock kedgeree

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

    Syns: cheese spread; wine:D

Not sure whether I'll be able to get online over the weekend as we're away but meals will be SW friendly and syns will be wine:D.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Well done on the losses Claire1972, PennyK, Sandhy and Candyapple (hope you get your 3 stone next week):T. Commiserations on the gains.

    So Meal plan for week:
F: Weetabix & Fruit (A/B); Pasta Bake leftovers & Salad; Fish Pie
S: Yogurt & Fruit; Bread Roll Pizza (A/B); Yellow Curry
S: Yogurt &Fruit; Out (will try to be goodish, but is other half's b'day so will definitely be wine and pudding :D , so think this will be a very flexible syns day;))
M:Weetabix & Fruit (A/B); Jacket with Beans & Salad; Mushroom Pasta
T: Weetabix & Fruit (A/B); Left over Mushroom Pasta; Salmon on crushed potatoes
W: Weetabix & Fruit (A/B); Tuna Jacket & Salad,; Cottage Pie with Swede Mash
T: Weetabix & Fruit (A/B); Cous Cous (packet); Squash & Sage risotto
There will also be extra fruit and syns eg Cadbury Choc roll etc, depending on what unplanned things get eaten:). Have tried adding salads at lunch as was down on S foods, but am not a great fan, so will have to see.

Also using last weeks group tip again, baking potatoes when cooking something else and then freezing them so only take minutes to heat up in microwave:T.

Here's to a good week for everyone - Good luck!

Felt very pleased with myself last night as had prawn salad for dinner.

Later had a glass of wine and a curlywirly, then another etc

Have decided not to buy multipacks in future, to go back to what I was doing the first week, make frittatas to pick at and have loads of fruit, veg , make soups and one pot meals that I can freeze.

I am not going down the all or nothing route as that is the thinking that got me so fat!!!!

No idea why you're not losing lantanna as you know the plan inside out. One day!!

Glad you had the NSV mildredd, you must look good to get comments even if a bit archaic.

Have a lovely weekend denise, hope the sun shines on you. It's lovely here and I expect it will warm up soon for you too tweets once the fog burns off.

Definitely the way to go IMO elona. I love frittata. I add sliced tinned potatoes to mine (along with tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions and anything else in the fridge). They make it more substantial. If you can spare a bit of HEA grated cheese on top that's yummy too. With beetroot, cornichons or pickled cabbage alongside you'd have Speed food coming out of your ears.

Well done on sorting your meal plan for the week Kaz. It's not essential to have salad (I eat hardly any) but build in as much Speed food as you can. I'd advise you go for Speed fruit with your breakfast rather than bananas or blueberries or those not on the list. Then build in Speed to your menus with tomatoes, passata, onions, diced veg or anything else you can think of.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese & spring onions, pickled cabbage
D:garlic chicken, sweet potato wedges, asparagus, tenderstem broccoli, mushrooms
    Syns: weekend wine:)

Chicken is a YS crown from Sainsbury's at 1.5 syns. Any skin won't be eaten so that'll bring it down a bit and unlikely to eat it all today. Using up bits of veg so rather mixed medley, there's going to be a lot of that in next few days.;)

I'm sticking to it religiously to the letter this week and writing absolutely everything down. There is no alcohol / meals out or takeaways this weekend either. I'm throwing a spud in the oven when I get in and going out for a walk.

Lets see if I can get a loss for next Friday.
