Surprised to see myself joint SOTW so thanks everyone for the congrats and well done CP too :T
This week's weigh in results: 0.5lb loss I expected to STS so I'm happy with that. Will be embracing the speed foods a lot more this week as I'm 5lb away from my 3st shiny, would be lovely to get that during this challenge.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying this late summer we seem to be having :cool:0 -
Week 1 being good has paid off - just back from WI with a 3.5lb Loss
. Happy with that as had been stuck for a couple of months.
Fav meal this week was probably chickpea and spinach curry (with left overs ready for a quick lunch next day).
Off to plan next weeks meals and shopping.....who knows, Mushroom Stroganoff might even make it on there
Well done HorseyKaz :T:T:T0 -
I'm finally back from college, it's a been a very long day.
Food wise it's been a bit rubbish, breakfast was fine and I snacked on fruit this morning. For lunch I made the best of the facilities at work and grabbed a turkey salad sandwich made with wholemeal bread. I scoffed it in the car before class.
By break time at 3pm I was so tired and constantly yawning that I devoured a milky coffee and kit kitsadly it made me feel worse and within the hour I was having to make excuses and run to the ladies....lets just say I had issues at both ends
Oddly enough when I got back to my car I had perked up, typical - perked up so much that on top of my planned dinner I necked two bags of crisps and more coffee. -sigh
I think this all occurred due to several nights of broken sleep, if I don't sleep well I suffer the next day, always have. I've been checked by my GP and he said I just need to get enough rest - easier said than done sometimes.
Hey ho, what's done is done and tomorrow will be better.
I'll have a think about my plan for the day and report back laterThey have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

BEG just whatever you like yourself. I've used the Philly Light with Chives and the Asda Light Garlic ones. Think they would be nice with any soft cheese that you like.
I love mushrooms so I love having these.
Thanks for that lantanna. Sorry to be a nuisance can you remind me of what you do with the mushroom (think you used button mushrooms?) and how much cheese you used and other than black pepper, did you add anything else?. Would stuffing the big mushrooms work?Just got a massive bag of mushrooms in Tesco reduced to 50p so will be doing something with them tonightI'm going to try and up my exercise. I've set myself a target for the amount of exercise calories I want to burn off in a week (according to my polar watch) so that will keep me amused trying to get it! My gym membership is also paid so costs me nothing to use it.
Bit philly by any chance:rotfl: Sorry I've had a hard day and I think I am cracking up
Welcome back beanie

So I'm watching eat well for less and there pizza they made with gram flour look delish. How many syns is in gram flour and plain flour on 2014 and 2015 ?
I ask because I am following my old 2014 as you know ... but I have a recipe booklet out of a recent magazine and it have a pizza recipe in it. on the recipe it states that the only syn is the cheese is not a healthy extra ?? So is flour now free ? Plus the gram flour is made with chickpeas and chickpeas are free hmmm.
Utter confusion , or Im just really craving pizza to the point this means alot to me lol
Other wise today went well, I had a good walk and been busy all day.
I had a wholemeal roll (HEX) and an egg and bacon medallions with loads of mushrooms for breakfast. Coffees with HEX in.
Lunch was left over lentil and ham soup with loads of carrots and leeks
and Dinner was a pasta and chicken salad with passatta , cherry toms , aubergine , onions in

I've just watched that too and I've been on line to see if the recipes are available as I wanted the vegetable casserole one.
Normal flour isn't free on SW, but chick peas are, so gram flour should be too, but don't count on it until that's been verified by someone with access to the website.

Shala thank you for the table. I just had a quick look and realised my info isn't on there because I was on holiday from 3rd Sept. Today I had my first WI after the holiday which I must say I thoroughly enjoyed: I had a gain of 3.5lbs.
I have made two massive pans of soup ready for the new weight loss.
Today I have eaten yoghurt and fruit only as not feeling so good.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Sorry to disappoint but gram flour is the same as any other flour, ie 4 syns per 25g.
If you want it for having as a snack then it ought to be synned but personally if I was making it as a main meal then I probably wouldn't syn it (but I think SW would consider it food abuse!).
