Re the Protiflakes, I'll just eat them in 30g amounts and hope for the best. They are 101 cals for 30g and 0.1g of fat so can't be that bad. Thanks for looking though!
I put it through the calculator and used dried rice as the free food content (as it says rice is the major ingredient). It comes out as 1 syn per serving. But I think you're right to try this pack and see if it makes any difference to usual HEB cereals.0 -

Thanks for the tip TIE - just looked it up and it gets very good reviews. I remember seeing Michael Douglas talking about it, I think it was on the Graham Norton show, and thought it might be worth seeing.
Mentioned the cinema to DH and his response was - is Minions still on? :rotfl: He loves children's films but I refuse to go to the cinema to see them. I would make an exception if we were taking a child, but DH doesn't count, he'll have to wait for the DVD or watch it on TV.

Ah one syn per serving is grand with me. I'll not be having them everyday just a couple of days a week in work. I'll work them into the syn bank. Just a little change to the oats. Can't see it going disastrously wrong! :rotfl:0 -
My fave speed veg is just about to come into season (September to December apparently)

Well,that was a surprise- 1 lb lost :j :j.
Now I am regretting my naughtiness over the last day or so.I actually thought it had been a "bad" week, with little opportuity to buy food,so have no fruit, veg, speed etc in the house.
Yesterday was a "good-ish" 1/2 day syn-wise,then we went to in-laws' to wish MIL a Happy Birthday.Cue lots of tea and biscuits for me.
Today, not having wholemeal bread in the house,I had 2 slices of "brown" bread for breakfast. Most of my day's syns right there!(Did you know that Hovis Best of Both loaf, despite being light brownish colour,is actually listed as "white" bread by SW??I knew it wasn't HEB or anything like that, but surprised it is called "white",despite not physically being white.)
Then lunch was bad.Had intended to buy French baguette to have with ham etc for lunch.Suddenly the "family" decision was made for everyone else to have KFC take-away,and I would have "something at home".Once we sat at the table,I asked what share of KFC was mine.I am not even a great fan of KFC,so
.
THENNNNNNNNN,,with only about 1.5 hours til weigh-in (this from a girl who usually eats hardly anything on a Monday),I thought "might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb",and I ate lots of squares of chocolate left over from our camping trip!!So it sounds like I have already had this weeks' syns already. If I had thought I was going to do so well at weigh-in this week,I might have been abit more restrained.
So already remorse for this SW week has set in.
The positives are
-being 5lb lighter than I was at the start of the school hols, despite having 4 kidlodites at home
- that I am still under target (by 2 lb)
-that I wanted to be under target exactly sooooooo I could have days like this in the school holidays
-routine will be restored later this week
-going to try doing a weekly meal plan after kids have gone to bed.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Hi all
Just having a quick catch up. Upgraded to W10 last night so still getting my head round that and moving my docs etc back on to my system.
Well done to everyone on their losses especially greentiger with the amazing 4lb loss.
I can't go to wi tomorrow night as DH is away for a meeting and my parents were coming to look after the boys to let me go but DS1 has come down with a horrendous cold and I don't want my parents to get it before they go on holiday.
So pop me in for a STS please shala.
menu today was:
Breakfast: french toast with mushrooms and tomatoes
Lunch: chickpea dhal and rice with peppers, mushrooms and onions
dinner: chicken kiev (made with Philadelphia light garlic and herb), sww chips, carrots and broccoli
feeling really exhausted tonight so off for an early bed.0 -
Go on lets try this again. Maybe now summer is ending I'll get into it more? Hitting a wall lately with my slimming world....
At this point losing 3 lbs (finally putting me in a lower stone bracket) would be good! But lets aim a little more ambitious than that. I will aim to lose 6lbs.
I would not even bother but today I really wanted chinese food and resisted so maybe there is hope for me yet. (Very synful weekend, but I managed to not use my full 15 today and it might even be an accidental SP day in the end? Possibly?)
I am 1 stone 2lbs from target but have been stuck just above or below this for some time now. I do cheat a lot so really I probably just need some totally on plan weeks (weigh in is saturday morning so i typically have a naughty weekend where i eat takeaway have less speed and dont count syns, and hope i can make up the damage.... I got away with this at first but not so much anymore!)Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0 -
Hi everyone.. failing miserably, I escaped SW jail:p.. yesterday we went to the local city food fair, I won't discuss
Then as it's busy week at work and a bank holiday we had a greggs
In fairness, I think there's a rule somewhere if you work on a bank holiday you're entitled to takeaway/sandwiches/cake...:o
I've pretty much given up this week so at some point i'll pull me socks up again and start eating healthy!
Saver upper - i'll just put you down for 0 on the challenge that way you can make sure you stay around that target for the 9 weeks.
Sorry to hear about your granny Tete, I hope she gets better soon and gets the care she needs x
Wiz/TIE - I have the same issue with the ceramic pan, I thought it was because i'd used frylight on it as well BEG.. I think they are just useless now and stick to my tefal wok/frying pan.
Well done Greentiger :T:T it's classed as the last week of the last challenge but I can ignore that and put it as the 1st week of this one if you want, up to you..;)
Right off to sort my food out tomorrow - i'm on a 14 hour day so I need breakfast/lunch/tea all at work..
have a good one xxxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
