Hi, has anyone got any ceramic frying pans?
If so, do you find them exactly as they say nothing sticks to them, and you can cook without any oil etc.
Well ,mine are a waste of time, I have to use a little oil and they still stick bacon makes the bottom brown and it sticks. Eggs stick and I have to use oil. When they are shown in an advert, the eggs slide all over without oil,
I have to say though they clean well, as yet they do, they may not in a month or two.
If any of you can advise me what to do I shall be eternally grateful. X x0 -

Nothing is coming up on the syn tool thingy for me ... but someone else more experienced than me may be able to see them?!
Thanks for the kind words Lois - fingers crossed they keep her in a little longer then. At least while she's there I know she's OK and it's a lot less stressful for me
And I've put Flora light and wholemeal bread on my shopping list for today!:o

I have one and my experience is the same as yours I'm afraid. The non stick worked the first time used but since then very hit and miss and yes have to use oil every time.
Dog update - he had a quiet night, I on the other hand didn't. Either have water infection or IBS flare up or both
, so lots of pain and had to get up for loo visit
. Legs ached like mad too
. Still feeling very tired so really not looking forward to work tomorrow unless I get a decent nights sleep, which I don't usually on return to work
.
I'm with Lois on the treatment of my poor mum, she was sent home with no care plan in place as she told them her daughters would do it. Pity they didn't ask us though, was hard work running between hers and ours and work.
Hope your Nan gets better soon :AIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

There’s excitement in the greentiger household! I’m reporting a 4lbs loss this week! I’m stunned. I checked the scales 5 times! Then I went back a bit later and checked again, so it must be right! Now to keep that going over the next week – only one lunch out planned (Friday). I think the hypnotherapy may be helping – eeek! I don’t care. I hope this is the first week of the new challenge, so this can be a good start!
lantanna, I hope you’re feeling better. Ice cream is essential medicine for a sore throat, so it must be syn free in that situation!
Hugs to you and your granny, Tete. You’re doing well to think about SW at all, never mind stay pretty much on track.
Oh no, TIE. I’m so sorry you’ve got some sort of lurgy now.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

I can't find them either. Lots of Fuel shakes and granola but no flakes.
Glad you enjoyed the HB steak tie. It is delicious but the glory of it is that it's almost syn free with just 1tsp of cornflour for up to 4 people. That's what makes me rave about it.
Clean jeans day today so very conscious that I need to keep a rein on myself. But as it's a miserable day here (typical Bank Holiday in fact) I'm having cheese sauce with my supper.:p Otherwise back on plan and I'm NOT going to tell myself it's the weekend and I can have wine syns.
Very happy with weekend's results greentiger. Now just need to hope we don't sell anyone before tomorrow. Had some BM yesterday, walked home from ground so that's about 3+ miles.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast
L: ham & LO vegbaked haddock, cauli & broccoli cheese, chips or new potatoes
Syns: cheese sauce (may offset some by having minimal milk in drinks).0 -

 Oh wow!!! Is that your best ever loss??:T:T:T0 -
Just dashing in for a quick catch-up as we have started with the paintbrushes again today.Just been checking out the 2 chubby cubs blog and still chortling - very amusing! Thanks to whoever posted the link.
Must have spent an hour yesterday afternoon reading these and they had me in stitches. :rotfl: Enjoy your day out with DH. Let me know, if you go to cinema what you see. The last film we went to see was Man Up - everytime we have checked since, there has never been anything that takes our fancy.
Re the ceramic frying pans - we have two which were brilliant at first and now they have gone from non-stick pans to stick pans  We didn't know whether it is the use of Frylight that has caused the problems. Wondered whether to try using normal oil in a spray and see if that is any better but as far as these pans go, the damage has been done. In the early days the fried eggs used to slide all over - now they have to be scraped from the pan and then have to be soaked to get clean.
Hope your Gran makes a good recovery Tete and they get her fully sorted and support in place before she returns home. Don't forget you have to look after yourself too.
Good to see you popping back in Smedley and to hear that you are still making good weight loss progress.
Woweee Greentiger - that is an amazing loss :T:T:T and a fantastic start to the new Challenge.
I've got wi tonight - I know having to go to SW on a BH  We I had a sneeky wi this morning and there was still a 12 present - let's hope it is still hanging around at 7.30 tonight :rotfl:
Well I get the feeling that DH is ready to restart with the paintbrushes now that our lunch is over so I had better pack up for now.

Re the Protiflakes, I'll just eat them in 30g amounts and hope for the best. They are 101 cals for 30g and 0.1g of fat so can't be that bad. Thanks for looking though!
I see Lidl have a Blueberry wheat one that 35g is your HEb so may give those a try when the Protiflakes are gone.
Greentiger the ice cream was Pooh Bear (what this Irish make call Honeycomb) and Peanut Butter so yeah of course it was syn free.:rotfl:
Great loss for your first week, amazing! I'd be like that as well have to check lol. Fab!! :T0
