    Oh another question (sorry) ,

I was looking for nimble bread in my local co op but they only had the small weight watcher bread. Is it the same, as in 2 slices = B choice?
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Breakfast was weetabix with banana and SS milk. DD had the same
as she just got back from holiday and is craving healthy food.

Lunch was baked fish and a big salad of lettuce, tomato, mushrooms and pickled cucumber.

I just had a mugshot and some melon slices and pineapple and planning a home made lamb, peppers and onion burger to have with broccoli, mange tout and some fresh peas for tonight.

Weight in is on Wednesday night so hoping for another loss.

hi gang, today is day 2 of me following the red plan. So far so good.
There are still something's I'm unsure about.
Am I allowed swede & carrot on a red day? And any fruit?

Just don't want to go wrong anywhere cos I feel so bloated and yucky!

Incase anyone's interested, co op & tesco have the fry lights reduced to £1.75.

    Also

Co op and tesco have the alpen lights at £1 or 3 for £3

Mirry- carrots & swede are both fine on a Red day.

The WW danish brown bread is 2 slices (400g loaf) as HEB.

  • Hello I would like to join your challenge (even though your half way through). I am just starting slimming world tomorrow morning. I am not going to the meetings and not doing it online, but I have the 2014 books and tracker sheets plus a ton of recipes and a couple of books around the house so going to use them. I bought them on ebay :) .

So I weighed in this morning so just use that weight to start this as I dont think one day will change me much :)I weigh 16.12 and by the 31st of October I would like to challenge myself to lose 10lbs (its a big challenge :o ) so I will be 16.2 which will be great. My big fat goal would be to reach 12stone :D:D:D in my wildest dreams lol.

As for syns, i do tend to save them for a couple of beers a couple of times a week so i won't have my full 15 a day generally.

Same here. I save my syns too and then I can enjoy my wine at weekends.:)

Thanks for that. Generally you can get Frylight in Home Bargains and occasionally Aldi on special for £1.50 but £1.75 is good if anyone doesn't have a HB nearby. I'll definitely try to stock up on some Alpens. I like the Cherry Bakewell flavour and they don't often have them in the £ shop. I don't have them often but DH likes them too and I'd rather see him eating those than other biscuits.

Yes, mirry, like denise says carrots and swede are fine on Red and also fruit. It's the carbs you need to avoid like potatoes and beans and things like that. Any special reason for doing Red (perhaps other than the extra HEXs)?

I was flicking through an old magazine and I saw a recipe with Total 0% stirred into the mash. I miss adding lashes of milk and butter to mash sometimes. Does anyone else add things to make it creamy?
