Ooh that injection sounds really painful denise, hope your DH is feeling better now.
Had a good day yesterday. Stuck to plan, win at football and win at rugby in the evening!!
We had salmon in a chilli dressing for dinner. I must fish (excuse pun:o) the packaging out of the bin and check the syns as I can't remember the brand. I think I got it YS somewhere. DH really enjoyed it which is great as normally he says he doesn't like salmon. Need to investigate making it myself then can add to our menus. I love fish but it can be so expensive that we don't have as much as we should.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: not hungry yet but whatever I have will be SW friendlyroast pork on veg trivet (red onion, celery, carrot), cauli, cabbage, broccoli, red cabbage with SW roast potatoes and parsnips.
Syns: gravy, weekend wine
I'm going to have to be strong and remove the crackling from the pork.
My next meal out is Wednesday lunchtime so until then I'm sticking 100% with plan.0 -

Just a quickie. I like to use the online weight loss tracker to enter my foods as it helps with the syn values.
I still have to hand in a food diary when I weigh in, which means I have to write down a manual copy as well.
Can I print out my online diary? On the SW website it says you can and says there's a print button, but can't for the life of me find one.
Can I do this and what do all you lovely people do please?Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -

Evening all, hope everyone is having a good weekend?
I've decided after procrastinating for god knows how long (big words alert!) to get back into the SW way of life, I've seen work colleagues do well and a friend of my Hubby's has had great success with it - Hubby is encouraging me to re-start so...here I am.
I don't want to go to weekly meetings, I hate the thought of clappy happy meet ups with a room of people, plus don't want to follow on line. I have the latest books and know the programme inside out. I just need a kick up the bum and daily motivation to keep me going.
My ultimate goal is to lose 2 stone, 2lbs - I'm 4,11 and currently 10 stone,6 so whilst I'm not massive (I wear dress size 12/14) I could and can do better, plus I have high blood pressure which I'm sure will benefit from losing weight.
I admit I haven't got off of to the best start, as I went food shopping last Friday and only now have decided to start the plan...doh! anyways, doing something is better than nothing in my book so I will work with what I have.
Tomorrow I plan to eat the following:
Breakfast - overnight porridge (porridge oats socked in mullerlight strawberry) plus banana on top
Lunch - home made butternut squash and onion soup, carrot and cucumber sticks
Dinner - chicken tray bake with new potatoes, courgette, broccoli, and carrots. (I made this last night and did use olive oil so will need to count syns for that)
OK, the above isn't perfect I know but miles better than what I have been eating lately. What do you guys think? I guess I could add more fruit and veggie sticks, but I'm not made of cash at the moment! lol

Hello, AuntyCat and Liz3yy.
Sunday
Dinner at friend's house was a creamy chicken dish (lush) with baby potatoes and carrots, peas & sprouts (all beautifully buttered, of course), followed by a sponge with fresh fruit cooked in it and served with cream. Also have to confess to having had a stem ginger biscuit and mini Battenberg cake. I think I may have consumed a few syns. Tonight I will have 3 mini babybels light (hexa) and grapes.
I don’t think it’s going to be pretty viewing on the scales tomorrow after the week I've had! No one to blame but myself.
Monday
Breakfast: tomato & spring onion omelette, fruit
Lunch: cheese salad sandwich (hexa & hexb), yogurt
Dinner: spiced chicken burger, wedges; frozen blueberries & ff nat yogurt
Snacks: Walkers French Fries ( 4 ½ syns), choc digestive (4 syns), 2 x Garibaldis (4 syns)
Good luck everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

If you want daily motivation liz, then you've come to the right place!!
I think your menu for tomorrow looks good. OK you could have had some SF fruit rather than banana at breakfast but you've got a fair bit in the rest of the day so you should be fine. It's always difficult the first week when you haven't shopped with SW in mind.
Good luck with your weightloss and hope your DH does well too. Improving health has to be a great motivation.
I was good with the pork crackling tonight. I only ate a piece the size of a (large:o) postage stamp and then resolutely threw the rest in the bin.
Cooked a piece of gammon in the SC tonight. Will slice it when it's cooled for tomorrow's dinner and portions for the freezer and then make a batch of my favourite veg and lentil soup.:drool:0 -

First of all welcome to our helpful thread. As Maman says your menu for today looks really good considering you decide to start SW until after you've shopped. If you could change the banana for one of the Speed fruits that would improve it even more.
You haven't mentioned an HEA (for calcium). Do you plan on using milk in drinks for this? Or perhaps some cheese.
You're right about needing to syn the olive oil but you can have more - up to 15 for the days so another 9 left. It is better to use all your syns when you first start as it is an area you can cut back on if your weight loss plateau's. I've been at target for about 4 years now and still need to have the full 105 syns a week.

What a lovely weekend we've had and the weather is looking to be pretty good all week. Got in a lot of body magic with digging up the weeds which have grown whilst I've been on holiday - can't believe how bad it got. With the grass from last week's lawn cutting and the weeds have filled up my garden waste bin, plus half a bin in my neighbour's whose was virtually empty. Still have the other half of the garden to do but that is just weeding as it's gravel not soil. Will probably be harder work than the digging!
Have now sorted out what I'm going to eat today and it's another Green day!
B - bacon & mushroom omlette (bacon = part HEB1)
L - LO HM veg curry/rice
D - bacon, egg, chips & beans (bacon = rest HEB1)
S - 3 Lidl Sesame crispbread/soft cheese (HEA1/HEB2)
HEA2 will be milk in tea throughout the day.
Haven't decided on syns yet but might have a look in the freezer to see if I've got a naan bread to have with my curry.
