Maman - I can't take the credit for the bit you bolded - my consultant says it all the time when people are going on holiday!!!

Love the sound of the salmon in chilli from Lidl. How on earth do they make the dill butter one Free? 5g of butter is 2 syns! But if that one's Free can't see why the chilli one wouldn't be - is it worth putting through the syn calculator to find out? Will have to look out for those next week when I go to Lidl - usually go there on a Tuesday but needed to go into the local town today so went in Aldi and got most of what I needed and then into Mr T's for the rest. Although still managed to forget a couple of things - even with a list, LOL!

That's a shame (about the gain and the interview:() but interview experience is always a good thing so pleased it went well. Are you looking because of that guy and redundancy threat?

It's still a good line denise, wherever it came from. There's nothing worse than having syns and not enjoying them.

I fished the salmon label out of the bin (again!) and it's coming out at 1 syn per portion. That's Lidl Harbour Fresh salmon fillets in a sweet chilli marinade. Not massive (110g per portion) but tasty. I do hope they still sell them as I've had them in freezer for a couple of months.

Stopped and bought a salad from Pret a Manger at lunchtime. Decided I can go into a caf! any time but the weather's so glorious that I decided to sit outside. Salad nicoise which is free except for the pot of vinaigrette and I just drizzled a little of that.

In London for the day tomorrow to celebrate my friend's birthday. We'll do a gallery, lunch and a show so probably at least an off plan meal with wine syns. Never mind, we decided to stop doing gifts and send time together instead so I'll forgive her any gains.:)
  • Well this was my first day and although it was a nightmare of a morning I managed to stick with plan :) (also got my hair cut so that always lifts spirit ;) )

Breakfast : I had a few coffees using HEA in it (not much tine this am)
Lunch : 1 medium boiled egg and a activia fat free yogart
Dinner : Frylight (sw) Roast with potatoes , parsnips , sweetcorn , gammon and beef. (small portion and any visible fats removed)

Syns : Snacked on my sons onion right corn snack things earlier 3.5syns (mindlessly) and might have a curly wurly 6syns for a snack later . So 9.5 Syns.

I didnt exercise today but did go shopping so a little walking

Still not used healthy extra B , but shopping day tomorrow so winging it today and I don't have nimble or anything in.

Planning on making overnight oats for breakfast tomorrow , maybe some kinda pasta salad or soup for lunch and going to pop the rest of the beef in the slow cooker and make a cowboy chilli for dinner using chipotle chilli , passata , onions and tomatoe puree and kidney beans.

Thankyou everyone for the kind welcome , a bunch of awesome people :)

Evening all, my second day in and I think I did ok....

Breakfast - grilled tomato, scrambled egg and baked beans
Lunch - left over soup from yesterday, muller light yoghurt
Dinner - frittata (eggs, brocolli and smoked salmon cooked in fry light) with boiled new potatoes
    Snacks - bananas and apples
I also had milk in my coffee as my HEA

I don't know what syns to have yet - there are some low fat crisps in the cupboard though they look tempting.

I feel lighter generally already however the addition of so much more veg in my diet has given me an unpleasant side affect.....I can't stop farting! Lol - I really hope this calms down soon :-/
