    Morning,

BEG that's what we do now just look at cakes not eat them or buy them! :rotfl:

Hope Shala has a lovely time, I've been to Canada once and went those places. I was lucky to spend a couple of months there before my final year in University and will definitely go back someday. I actually lost weight when I went with all the walking and they do lovely healthy food in the main think Roast Chicken dinners, soups and the like.

Weekend wasn't bad. No real binge as such. Just constant picking Saturday and sunday. Cheese etc. Alcohol syns were minimal. Didn't bother to have a proper dinner yesterday so just kept picking at things and def over ate.

Anyway in a better place this Monday than I was last Monday.
Oh made it to the gym on Friday and Saturday too.

I got up early and did some squats before work  and then had a boiled egg Wholemeal Sandwich thin with a laughing cow light. Made a nice change having something hot for breakfast.
Think lunch is just going to be fruit and a yogurt.

Tonight I have LO HM Veg soup and I'm just going to have that with a plate of ham and pickles etc.

I'd like to see one off this week. So gotta try and pull it back now.

    Morning all :)

I lost the plot a bit last week, but I've found it again! My new resolve kicked in yesterday and I've made some changes, I'm now writing everything down - nothing focuses the mind like seeing everything you've eaten in print.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm sported out - I'm not a big fan of sport but this weekend I've watched tennis, rugby and football. I particularly enjoyed the tennis, very exciting. We (UK) could actually win the Davis cup for the first time in a long time.

DH is hoping to play golf today - when the rain stops :rotfl: - so I'm on my own in the shop, which is always the biggest threat as my self control disappears when there's no-one around.

B_e_g - well done for resisting the cakes. It's true that they never taste as good as you think they will. DH and I decided to eat a Victoria sandwich that had reached it's sell by date, we had one slice each and threw the rest away, it just felt like such a waste of syns.

Psychopathbabble and Tete - the Sunday confessionals were  but now you've got it out of your system you can start again and hopefully have a good week. It happens to us all, we're only human. :)

Still chuckling at Maman being scary.... she is the Speed Food Cop after all.... :rotfl:

Well done to all the losers, and if you've STS or put on, keep going, the scenic route may take longer but we will get there in the end.

:T on the 2lbs loss and pickled onions are definitely Speed. Like the other pickles (beetroot, cornichons, pickled cabbage) I find them really easy and tasty when I have bubble & squeak made with LOs for lunch.

Thanks for that maman. I love pickles and beetroot so will be eating more! You said well done on the 2lb loss.... That wasn't me ;)

However..... I have been to class today and I was DREADING it, but i've somehow managed -3lb!!!!! So so happy!!! :j:j:j

Got my shiny sticker and 1st half stone award which is now proudly on my fridge. Can't decide if I should put my sticker on the back of my book or the bak of my plastic wallet :rotfl:

I'm totally focused for the week ahead now. I've been asked to work Friday night so I've got out of going out on the drink. I'll still be out for chinese on Thursday, running McMillan coffee morning Friday and celebrating sons birthday at the weeknd HOWEVER i'm gonna try to avoid the cakes and get to the gym 3 times for gentle swim and steam to clear my lungs.

I've updated the chart for myself and didn't manage to break it

Have a good week everyone! I'll be reading and trying to post when I can

Hi everyone got back from holiday yesterday afternoon and only just sat down for a few minutes on the laptop!

Haven't had a chance to catch up and only managed to get wifi signal for short time whilst away so only read a couple of pages then. This thread moves so fast!

Think I've probably gained around half stone in the 3.5 weeks I've been away but back on plan today (yesterday wasn't too bad although did have some french stick with my beef stew!).

    Having an EE day today:

    B - bacon & mushroom omlette
L - ham salad roll (HEB + 2 for butter)
D - steak, 3 pepper sauce (1 syn); SW chips, onions, mushrooms.

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

Just about to go and check on washing as looks as though it's about to rain!

  • Fab loss CP and well done on the new shiney :T

Welcome back Denise - hope you have had a good time

I think it is a sign that we a making progress Lois when we are able to stand and stare at 'naughties' and walk away without buying and throw something out if we are not enjoying it rather than stuffing it in our mouths and then say 'that wasn't very nice and I shouldn't have eaten it'.

Hope you feel better soon Maisie :). Might sort some of cross stitching stuff out this afternoon. Was going to do that over weekend but it just didn't happen :D

You will get loads of support here duchy (you might even be poked with a big stick - should you request it) :rotfl:.

Have strayed quite a bit from the SW path this week :o. Had a 1.5lb gain last week - so goodness know what will happen tonight. Good job the Sunday confesssional is closed otherwise I would have been stuck inside there all day

Hope you all have a good week.

PS Saver-upper - where are you???? You have been very quiet. Hope all is well with you.

Well. It’s an STS for me again; seems to happen on alternate weeks! At least it’s not a gain.

Sorry your class was unproductive, duchy. Never mind, we are not too badly behaved/ rude here.

meg, like you I was petrified entering my lack of loss on the lovely chart! My fingers are still crossed.

Did De Gea not have a tough time when he came at first, tweets? It was a bit of a mess at the transfer window. Glorious sunshine here btw.

To all of you in education, I am so glad I’m no longer involved. You are all worth your weight in gold.

    Glad you’re feeling brighter, lantanna.

    Great loss, Pennies.

Denise, after your lovely long holiday, you’ll be raring to go with SW again!

You're so right greentiger - I really need more fruit and veg - it's been fairly limited whilst in France and mostly from tins, although I got a bag of frozen veg which I used when I made a beef stew in my Mr D thermal pot (a non electric slow cooker). Used it a couple of times whilst we were away.

I've got 3 days to rein it back in a bit after the holiday and hopefully can manage to lose enough to come back into target range so I don't have to pay again!

Haven't seen the new mag yet as it came out the week I went away. Are there any nice recipes in it this month?

It can go in alternate weeks greentiger, that often used to happen to me.

3 lbs is an excellent loss CP:T. How you deal with the events this week rather depends on how scenic a route to target you want to take. In the main, except for holidays, I was quite strict with myself and made wise choices (like steak & salad) when I went out and just said no to cakes. Now I'm at target I can be a bit more relaxed and just play catch up.

Good to hear renewed enthusiasm lois.

At least you have the books duchy so you can refer to them to help you and just ask as many questions on here as you like you'll soon get the hang of things. Posting your menus is a good idea too and you're right to weigh at much the same time each week and it helps to wear similar clothes and a similar gap from your latest meal. There may be a discrepancy between the SW scales and your home ones but after today that'll be sorted.

I was wishing yesterday that De Gea had been sold to Real Madrid!! Hope you're feeling better now tweets and being back at work not too much.

Great to see you back denise and I'm sure France was wonderful. Thought of you yesterday when I opened a tin of duck confit:).

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beans
L: ham, beetroot, fried LO veg
D: pork stir fry (mushrooms, peppers, mange tout) with noodles
Syns: scrape of spread, noodles 1, sauce half a syn (1tsp cornflour shared).

I have half a HEB left so as dinner's early today I may have an Alpen Light or slice of toast later. It's not often I buy 400g bread but at 2 for £1 for Allinsons in Farmfoods I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm already lean and i like to think of myself as fit but i've been doing training for the Cardiff half marathon and after running 6.2 miles yesterday my legs are like jelly :(

My usual exercise comes from dancing whick keeps you lean but doesn't give you stamina levels to do a marathon. Most of the people here i expect are doing a daily run so how do you keep the jelly legs away?
