  • Have a lovely holiday Shala! Hope the cold sore has subsided a bit, I feel your pain on that front. I'm convinced I'd have a huge one on my wedding day should any kind soul ever pluck me from this shelf.

Maisie - never mind danger money for the germs, what about compensation for the physical abuse from so called 'children' these days? I would be mortified if my child behaved like some do at my school. I get embarrassed for the mum of my 1-1 when I have to tell her what he's done to adults during the day. Some children have no respect for adults any more, who's to blame though?

Augh. Generally, in my experience, it's the parents. I'd phone them to tell them their daughter was ejected from my class for calling me a "Stupid f-ing ugly c**t" and their response would be, "You just need to speak to her respectfully and let her have a few minutes to calm herself down" - not bothered in the slightest. Society these days is all about its rights and not enough about its responsibilities. [/soapbox]

Sooooo. Do we have a Sunday Confessional on this thread or what? I'll start us off. In the last 36 hours I have eaten:
    - Slice of chocolate cake
    - Chippy tea
    - Wispa Gold
    - Another Slice of chocolate cake
    - Bacon with the rind on
    - Family bar of Dairy Milk
    - Two Nougat bars
    - Packet of Drumstick Squashies
    - Large bag of cheese and onion Kettle Chips.

    :o:o:o

I *have* been very good for four weeks though, it was sort of inevitable.

    Today:
B - Coffee (2 syns for sugar), wholemeal toast (one slice HEXB, 4 syns for the other, 4 syns for Flora)
D - Bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs.
T - SW easy chicken curry.

My Speed consumption has reduced a fair bit over the last couple of weeks I know, need to kick myself up the bum in that respect.

I'm at a very long conference tomorrow so goodness knows what I'll end up eating there :(

  • Lost 1.5 this week Shala... Sorry for being rubbish at posting.

This is just a quick post as I'm running late for a christening this morning. Hope everyone is ok!

  • I've just seen its confessional time....

So I lost this week on Wednesday. I then ate macdonalds as I had given blood and was heading straight out so no time to cook.

    Thursday I think was ok.

Friday I had too much chocolate.

Yesterday was Pizza Hut for lunch, wine, Malibu, Thai green curry, Ben and jerrys, chocolate.

But today I've had boiled egg and toast for breakfast and I'm going to grab a couple of bits to take so I can avoid the post christening buffet. Should
Go for a run too, haven't been in a couple of weeks :(

:T well done psycho and you too on your half a pound wiz.
Even if you crawl to your target at half a pound a week you'll get there:).
Have a fab time away Shala!

Been reading, but not posting. This week has been a disaster. Started off great monday and tuesday.... Then it all went wrong.

    Dreading weigh in on Monday.

It happens CP, what matters is that you get back on track ASAP. Have you got a plan for this week?

:naughty: to the lack of speed food tete. I'm convinced it's all in the planning. Don't forget that frozen and canned Speed veg counts so always worth having some in stock. I find pickles (cornichons, beetroot, pickled cabbage, shallots) are a good stand by too.

I'm 100% with you on what parents seem to find acceptable. Many swear in front of their children, ignore them, give in to them and then wonder why they behave badly!! It's no wonder that new teachers leave in droves (40% after one year and 20% after 5).

JO Chicken Cacciatore was not a success. We ate it but it was far too wet and sloppy for my tastes. Shame as it looked so good on the TV. If I made it again, but probably won't, I'd use just one tin of tomatoes.

Off to football today. Playing MUFC so not hopeful of any points but Crunchie will help. Need a quick dinner when we get back so we're having DH's delayed birthday main. Lots of syns in dauphinoise but I'll be good tomorrow to make up for it;). Why is it that quark and fromage frais are free but crème fraiche isn't???

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: bacon with fried veg
D: duck, dauphinoise, peas, carrots, onion, cauli and broccoli
    Syns: lots!!

The peas/carrots/onion is a side dish my French niece always has with duck. Fry off a chopped onion (I soften mine in microwave first) then add tin of peas and carrots to pan and heat through. The French eat a lot of tinned veg and this just tarts it up a bit. Duck confit is from a tin too and dauphinoise defrosting from earlier in the week so an easy meal.

I'm going to a different group tomorrow for WI as i'm working when my usual group is on. If I don't get weighed, even though I know it is a gain, then I will stay off track and carry on blowing out :o

Tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday will be fine. I'm worried about the weekend though. Thursday we are going to a chinese buffet for a friends birthday. Friday i'm helping with hosting a World Largest Coffee Morning for charity, followed by a birthday party, Saturday is my sons birthday and Sunday will be recovery from the week! I think I'm gonna have to be REALLY strict with myself with regards to cakes and alcohol. The chinese I will stick to safer options, and alcohol wise I'll HAVE to stick to vodka and NO fruit cider!

I will try and fit in 3 sessions at the pool, however I'm quite run down with a chest infection too so feeling pretty grotty.

I hope posting here will help keep me on track.

Good afternoon everyone. Please post another 2lb loss for me. Didn't think that I would lose anything as had a day off plan in the middle of the week.

Sorry sorry sorry :o Why do you frighten me? I think it's your username :p

My trouble is that the fruit and veg I prefer (or prefer for ease) isn't speed - peas, sweetcorn, bananas, grapes... Beetroot and cornichons are easy to quickly stick on your plate though, thanks!

Well done to all losers this morning :T:T:T

  • Hello folks, just posting up yesterday and todays eating.

It hasn't really been well structured due to being nightshift and has been more snacking than structured.

Eating yesterday was mainly free, including cold meats, mackerel in tomato sauce, a couple of mug shots and the leftover chilli from Friday. Some flat peaches, satsumas and grapes as well.

Syns were a couple of packets of spaceraiders (6 syns)

Never managed any hexb, milk was hexa.

Today has been a bit better, chicken broth made again and had that for lunch/breakfast and will have more later. Hexa milk, I'll try and get a hexb in later (most likely 2 x Nimble wholmeal).
I'll also have fruit for through the night (2 flat peaches, 2 satsumas)

2 x spaceraiders for snacks again (can you tell I like them?) 6 syns.
