Just watched Rick Stein eating/cooking in Istanbul. I love that place and Turkish food in general, was there this time last year. Happy Days.

Thanks GreenTiger, nice to know someone who has been there and enjoyed it. This time round we're doing Niagara, Toronto and Montreal, maybe next time we'll do west coast... :D

Managed to sleep the headache off last night so I now need to get up and clean the house because I didn't do it yesterday :( I wouldn't normally bother but the MIL is coming to look after the cat  can't have her thinking I'm dirty :rotfl:

Yesterday all I managed to eat was a packet of puft, 2 potato waffles, tiny bit of pasta bake and a banana... I just felt sick, anyway it's had a brilliant weight loss effect :rotfl: won't be eating heavy meals today either as don't fancy a plane journey with an uncomfortable tummy..

So behave yourselves whilst I'm gone :D and see you in a week (probably a stone heavier )

  • Hope I haven't missed you shala - have a fab time on your hollibobs . You are being very brave letting us lot loose on your lovely chart

Well done to everyone who has had a loss over the last couple of days :T. I am not holding out much hope for Monday's wi - on top of the wonderful afternoon tea on Tuesday - yesterday lunch-time it was fish, chips mushy peas, tartar sauce and onion rings followed by sticky toffee pud and vanilla ice-cream. Tea-time was leek, potato and bacon soup and an apple and supper-time cup of tea and a boost bar. So not a very good day all round really :o. I have been fully back on it today though with fruit for brekkie, lunch was large ham salad, sugar-free jelly and fruit and tonight its pork steaks and veggies and sw apple betty (3 syns worth I believe) and will have the HEs for supper.

Oh, forgot to say, I actually walked into cake shop yesterday afternoon and the lady asked if she could help me and I told her I was just looking. Decided that whatever I would pick probably wouldn't have tasted as nice as I thought it probably would have and walked out cakeless :p :rotfl:

Caught up on household jobs and the shopping has been done. Washing and ironing is up to date with only the bed to remake so I have awarded myself a lazy weekend now ;)

Have fun whatever you are up to.
