  • Had chips tonight, they were worth it :)

B- cooked ham and boiled egg on toast (hex b)
    L- Chicken broth
    D- Chilli and chips

Couldn't find LA Diner straight cut chips, but it was 200g and done in an Actifry with 15ml of vegetable oil. Taking the chips as 5 syns per 100g (ranges from 3.5 up to 8 for french fry style) and the oil at 6 syns, 16 syns shouldnt be far off.

Also had 3 syns with my daily packet of space raiders wich I think puts my weekly syn bank down to 80.

Hex A 250ml milk, any other snacks will be fruit.

So glad you enjoyed the chips and you obviously had syns to spare so why not!

Using the syns calculator I make it 5 syns for your chips plus the oil. I think that's relatively high. I have McCain's 5% sometimes and they're about the lowest at 2 syns for 100g and no oil needed.

I'm off to parboil my SW chips for later. I have to save syns for my wine!;)

:TThat's great news and a EESP lunch (I think) must be helping.

Remembered though that one of the things our consultant stressed yesterday was variety. But if it's working, don't knock it.

My consultant has just rejoined :/
God knows how long she hadn't been an actual member but I don't think she's lost in the 2 years ive been going?
Would rather be told the truth though personally - I don't like the stepford wife approach many consultants seem to front - my friends a consultant and I know he doesn't do the plan 100% but to his members he says he does it to the letter :/ annoying.

The way I see things from my 6 months of SW is:
    1. to lose weight follow the plan...
    2. When maintaining, or for after reaching target, live a little more, but use the knowledge gained with SW to keep to a healthy weight.
I do not see how one can lose weight infinitely.

I can see how the consultant wants to give a certain image, but I don't see how it is possible to stay on the plan 100% for a lifetime.
The learned lifestyle eating has to fit ones lifestyle, adapting to maintain feels like the correct way to go.
    SW loss= 15.5kg / 2st 6.2lb

Thanks Maman! Yeah although I like the nuggets, they were getting a bit tiresome today! Just done 30 mins on the cross trainer so 199 calories burned. Homemade veggie soup for tea tonight too when the other half gets in (he's a DJ) :j

maman, my old Dyson was like the apocryphal hammer that had has 2 new shafts and a new head but it is still the same hammer that was bought in nineteen canteen. I’ve replaced so many bits of it over the years – being able to clip one bit off and clip a new part on was something I loved about it. However, the motor was a part too far for me. I have taken a deep breath and bought a new Dyson (it cost less than the original!). Not sure about it yet. Plus point – it’s 2 ½ kg lighter; minus points – the bin is much smaller, the tools don’t live on the body. It works though!

I had to buy a new landline phone, tweets; DH is very involved with his bowling club and is the contact point for ticket sales for events – all the posters for the next cabaret have our house number, so couldn’t wait a few days to see if it dries out in the tub of rice. So in a couple of days I may have a spare. Ah lantanna, I had just finished cleaning the loo, so the rice will be fine …….

Have a lovely break, shala. Canada is lovely and everyone is so laid back – we’ve been to the east and west coasts on different holidays; just need to fit in the middle sometime, lol. You’re a bit brave letting us loose on your lovely chart. Hope your headache is gone now.

    Well done, gbatey.

tomorrow as I saw him do it on his programme earlier in the week. They had boneless, skinless chicken thighs in my Aldi but no kippers. Also Lazy Garlic and Frylight on special.

I'm not sure where the link is supposed to go but all I get is a grinning smiley. :D

  • Maisie - never mind danger money for the germs, what about compensation for the physical abuse from so called 'children' these days? I would be mortified if my child behaved like some do at my school. I get embarrassed for the mum of my 1-1 when I have to tell her what he's done to adults during the day. Some children have no respect for adults any more, who's to blame though?

I'm so glad when it gets to 3.15 on a Friday, especially this week as I've had terrible nights all week. Keep waking at 3 then brain switches a light on. Son goes to bed at 5, my alarm goes off at 6. Been a zombie on auto pilot this week. Not sure how I kept going really.

Not holding out much hope for WI 😕
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
