Woke up today with yet another migraine, which usually drives me to eat junk, but no - I took some pain killers and visited the local co op to buy some canderel. To my delight they were on a special offer HALF PRICE for the baking Canderel and the normal canderel.

    Meal plan...

    B. Banana
    L. Wholemeal roll (B) and SW sausages, salad
    D. Savoury rice with diced chicken and mixed veg

Milk allowance (A) for rice pudding.

not sure what to have as syns, can I skip for one day?
    Kindness costs nothing :)
  • Doing an SP week this week.
    Yesterday,
B- Mushroom, ham and red pepper omlette
L- Home made soup, Hex B bread
    D- Fish and steamed veg
Fruit for snacks, 3 syns on a pk of Space raiders. Missed a second hexb, hexa was semi skimmed milk.

    Today
B- Hexb bread x 2, egg and ham.
    D- Chicken and veg broth
L- I'm on nights, so probably more broth, and called Lunch :)
Snacks will be fruit and probably another PK of space raiders.
    Hex A will be milk.

After weeks of the same pound or two going off and going on, I weighed myself this morning and seems a few more than two pounds has gone now .:j:j

You're allowed treats on holiday gocat, it's the law!;) and well done on your 2lbs loss:T. It's probably not too late to join in the challenge as it runs right up to Halloween.

Yes, you can skip them for a day. I generally save most of mine for the weekend rather than having them daily. You don't seem to be having much to eat today, well not by my standards:D.

Hope the rest is doing you good tweets.:)

Pleased to report a half pound loss at WI. I'm really pleased with that as I expected a gain because of meals out.

Our consultant decided to do the new members talk for the whole group today as a refresher. I did argue about the 'fill your boots on free food' comment but she seemed to think it was clear enough that it should include Speed. Which brings me to my big faux pas. Consultant said that to make sure she gets variety she highlights all the fruit she likes in her book to add to shopping list and eat regularly. I was then waiting for her to tell us she does the same with veg but she didn't. So (being me) I piped up 'What about veg?' and she said she can't eat it. I then made it worse by saying 'What about your children?'. I went over to apologise after group was over and she says she had bad experiences as a child but her DH and children have veg.

So my consultant has lost 6+ stone by just eating fruit and no veg!! (Did you hear that wiz;)). Apparently she has a fruit salad (of the 4 or 5 fruits she does eat) before every meal which equates to at least a third and she thinks stops her from being too greedy on the protein/carb only meal she's having. Interesting.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
    L: LO hot pot (meatfree)
D: Take away and wine syns so anyone's guess

I've just read that Puffed Wheat is discontinued as a HEB so might have to go back to Shreddies. Shame, as Puffed Wheat is a generous portion.
ETA: Apparently Sainsbury's Puffed Wheat is OK. Can't understand why it's different as it's 100% wheat just the same??? Oh and what a faff looking up HEXs is with the 'new' format.

:rotfl: There is always one troublesome one in the class Maman!!! That all does sound rather odd! But then it doesn't affect me. I just assume that like me everybody has some of fruit and veg they both like and some they dislike and avoid.

You'll be put out of the class Maman. :rotfl::T

I may skip wi tomorrow, too chicken. Not feeling good about it and might give myself a week to get a loss. A sts or gain won't do the head any good at the minute.

I am having the most strange of strange weeks. Up to my eyes with an awful disciplinary of a colleague in work which just doesn't sit right with me at all and then a friend behaving most bizarrely and I really am having to question her mental health right now. Not good, not good.

Of course you can skip the syns for one day :rotfl: or 2,4,5 if you want, some of us save them up and get legless at the weekend, no joking .but a weeks syns is 105 so its up to you how to use them.

Well fancy that, a rebel consultant, :rotfl: Sorry Maman just had a fit of the giggles, imagining you saying WOT NO VEG with an indignant face, just goes to show though that's its not set in stone and dosent matter how you do it as long as you get the result you want.
