It's Hairy Bikers' braised beef duchy. Not only is it delicious but it has just one syn for enough fabulous gravy for up to four people. It works with cheaper pieces of meat so is very mse, lately I've been using beef medallions from Aldi. I always add mushrooms as well as onions and obviously substitute Frylight for the oil. It's lovely with chips or with potatoes and veg. b-e-g has frozen it so even though it takes a while to cook it'd make a good HM ready meal.

Rice pudding sounds yummy mirry. I have looked but website isn't helpful giving syns for rice. I like a baked rice pudding as I prefer it quite dry and firm rather than sloppy like tinned rice. I'm sure my mam didn't put an egg in it ether but that was back in the day before semi-skimmed was invented!:rotfl:

Totally second everything you have said maman - it is absolutely nom nom type of food :D. Even though DS has moved out now, he never turns a couple of servings of HB Steak down to go in his freezer. The recipe was definitely a great find maman ;).

My mum used to put an egg in the rice pudding when doing it in the oven I seemed to remember. I have never managed a SW Rice Pudd that hits the spot with me :(.

    Good Afternoon/Evening :)

I been poorly since Sunday night with pain in left side :(

Was bad yesterday so rang docs and got in this morning .

    I have a slight groin strain :(
So he given me pills to take.

God help people with severe groin strain I couldn't bend or get up when sat down :o

He weighed me it was around 9-40am and told me my weight in kg's I converted this and  according to docs scales I have lost 9 and half lbs since last Thursday  I bet I haven't when I weigh myself normal day tomorrow at 3pm. Nice to be 10 st 5 and half for a day :D

Hope you feel better soon tweets. Good luck for tomorrow's wi.

Have been a busy bee today - helping friend with jobs this morning and then I been cutting 3 lots of lawns, ours, neighbours and mum's and done a bit of shopping. So I think I will start looking at going for silver body magic award again - get so far keeping track of what I have done and then I sort of forget about it. :rotfl:

It's one of DH's concoctions for tea tonight - bacon lasagne type thingy. He makes things up as he goes along and it always seems to work out very nice. Me, on the other hand, has to follow recipes word for word :rotfl:

Don't think I will be straying too far away from the sofa tonight once we get cleared away after tea. Must be all sorted ready for our Mary (Berry) and Paul (Hollywood) :D.

    Any carrot recipes ?
Sainburys delivered 6 kilos of carrots instead of 6 carrots !!

On Instagram they always make overnight oats or porridge and add grated carrots and mixed spice to make them carrot cake flavour - if you google there are loads of recipes...

I bet we all wish it was that easy, mildreddd!
A selection of Freddos – now there’s an idea. My Freddo is missing! Maybe he's run off, but I suspect DH.

Dollydiva, that wasn’t a good experience, but don’t be put off – it really is quite easy to follow. As others have said, if you want to try, there are lots of lovely helpers here.

Well done, Tete, shala and Matron.

Hi, mirry, you’re doing the right thing. Well done you.

Oh duchy, carrot fun! Maybe not carrot cake. Thai carrot & coriander soup? It’s a bit sinful, but is delish!

    Enjoy your new wardrobe, meg.

I’m with you on the firm baked rice, maman. And I love a burnt skin on the top too!

Hope your strain eases soon, tweets.

Yes, you're right only syns were in the sugar:).

That's excellent that the veggies were syn free, thought they'd have oil in them. How did you find out? BTW, you don't have to stop at 1 spray with the Frylight unless you want to. I always spray generously.

All I would say is that you didn't eat much. Your breakfast and lunch only really come to one meal between them. Is this your working hours that dictate?

I'm going to risk going to WI tomorrow. I haven't been for a few weeks and although I think I've gained a bit it's going to get worse. DGD is coming round tomorrow as it's her birthday and we're having a take away. She's deciding between pizza, fish & chips or Chinese:eek:. Then I want to have DH's delayed birthday meal at the weekend and I'm out again in the week. So I'm going tomorrow, then having a bad week, then doing my very best to pull it back. Its a treadmill being at target!!!:rotfl:
