Yes I worked late and my sleep has been all over the place since I got back from the US so I basically had coffee at 8.30 whilst I was putting the delivery shop away and then napped til 12 when I got up for work at 2pm so it was really brunch and dinner. I didn't feel the need for any more food but I realize I need to be eating more than today's intake.

I thought I'd want a snack after work but didn't -which is as well as I'm struggling to think of satisfying snacky type foods (I am bored with fruit).

The Tesco veg was listed on the website -I don't think it's right tbh as it did have a little oil on it.

Porridge was fine made with water (my Mum always made it with water ) and adding the yogurt into it added the creaminess it needs.

I do think I need bread so will be adding that and as I don't do wholemeal it'll be with syns ! I'm thinking add the carbs earlier in the day so breakfast type stuff or lunchtime sandwich. It's all trying out what works for me at the moment so please bear with me if I waffle -it helps me get my head around all this.

Just had a marvellous surprise, friend arrived with a load of clothes, boots and shoes that her daughter wanted rid of. She said take anything you can use and the rest is going to the skip.

Well thought it was my Birthday, really lovely quality stuff. lots still with labels on, including a beautiful black leather coat that was over £100 .
So now have an absolutely fab new winter wardrobe all size 12, couldn't believe she was going to take the rest to the skip and managed to talk her into taking it to charity shop instead.

Am over the moon as it means that I now don't need to spend any of the budget and will treat the grandkids instead.

:T Well done meg Christmas came early :)

    Morning,

Only today do I feel like I am getting my act together with anything!

Been such a rotten emotionally charged week at work and friends dramas which I'm sort of at a loss of words at ......which isn't me. :rotfl:

I'll be lucky to have a sts tomorrow.

Anyway onwards and upwards hopefully next week will see me able to make a difference.

Off to the gym after work for the first time this week! How bad!

Gonna try and get some meal planning done today.

Love the disappearing Freddos :rotfl: I've not had a Freddo in a long long time!

I usually do the reverse - intend to order 1kg of something and end up with 1 item. Last time I did an online shop I had 1 carrot, 1 onion and 1 apple!

Have you tried roasting carrots? They're very good, and if you cut them in large chunks they're quite satisfying in place of roast potatoes. I do that if I'm having an EESP day.

    Wow - that's amazing, what a bonus. :j

Can't believe anyone would just dump stuff instead of donating it to a charity shop. She could even have made some money for herself if she made the effort to sell it on fleabay. Ah well, her loss is your gain! :D

Tweets - hope you feel better soon.

Dollydiva, that wasn’t a good experience, but don’t be put off – it really is quite easy to follow. As others have said, if you want to try, there are lots of lovely helpers here.

I don't think Dollydiva is interested in SW, she just wanted to post negatively IMO. It's a shame the group she went to wasn't more supportive though, she was badly let down by them.

Well done to the losers this week, have a good day everyone.
