What lovely places to visit, dillon.

Oh dear not reporting in with a very good result tonight - +1.5lbs  Didn't really expect that one - only naughtiness was at day of funeral and whilst it was more off plan than I would normally have been, I have been very good for the rest of the time. Anyhow, I will accept it (can't do anything else really), dust myself down and get back on it after the afternoon tea tomorrow. Will be on plan for the rest of the day apart from the tea.
Since I have arrived home I have had Austrian Hash with loads of speedy veggies on the side followed by a cup of Earl Grey and a Cadburys Boost Bar.:rotfl: Syns for the day 2.5 for lunch and 12.5 for Boost Bar.
Hope you all have a good week.

Well done greentiger :T Long live Freddo
Better keep an eye on the 'best before date' :rotfl::rotfl:
For the people who go to class - are you getting lots of new members these past couple of weeks. Our class has been quite manic.
b_e_gSPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
Well the class (my first) was interesting........
I definitely piled on weight in Vegas so I've set a long term target of 4 stone to lose -and a shorter term one of a stone.
I'm a little bit confused that if the day of the class is changed - bank holidays, leader off on holiday etc that I'm expected to pay for that week. I picked Mondays because it's the day I'm free to go ...although as a shift worker apparently I can get a pass but it sounds cracked to me. Most people choose a class based on their schedule -to penalize them when they aren't the one changing things doesn't sit well with me.
It was a bit chaotic as the venue had changed room and hopefully that was why it took so long. I expected an hour or an hour and a half max- not two and a half hours !!!
I've now done a home delivery shop for tomorrow -Usually the OH shops not me - but he loves his salads (although he puts cheese on everything so that'll have to stop lol) so I don't think it'll be too much of a shock for him - and he's on board as he wants to lose weight too.
Annoyingly Sainsburys don't seem to do a stew pack so it'll be a walk to Aldis tomorrow to get one .
I'm not able to log on yet so can't see how many syns kippers and scrambled egg will be. Must be some as prepacked kippers come with butter. Also need to work out the syns for Aldi's white seeded loaf (I can't handle wholemeal bread it gives me stomach cramps)
I'm really not sure if I'll stick with the group- Nice bunch but I got tired of hearing "we have to do this now" and it seems there is a lot of resistance to the "new way"-which is a shame as it's the right day and time - and a brisk 15 minute walk - which can't hurt. One the other hand I need the discipline of a weigh in weekly for now I think
I really like the plan but it seems to me SW have some issues with rebel groups rather than a more uniform way of doing things- whether that will be a deal breaker for me remains to be seen.
So I need a target for 6 weeks for the challenge here . I'm really not sure what to put but I think 10lbs is a good motivator.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

:Tto anyone with a loss.
Condolences to elona, you're doing well to take yourself back in hand:).
duchy, the happy clappy element of SW can be very difficult but I just let it go over my head. Even if you just go to group once and get the books and the introductory talk it's worth it. I haven't heard good reports of SW online but if you listen to the basics and then ask on here you'll be fine.
:hello:mildredd, great to have you back.
DH has had a great birthday even though it's meant lots of off plan eating and drinking. Had SW breakfast and I've just had a small JP for supper. In between we went for lunch at a country pub in the New Forest and then had cake and champagne. Didn't need dinner so dauphinoise is in the freezer, probably have it at weekend instead.
Looking forward to a quiet, on plan day tomorrow. It's bee all go here lately.
I'm sure the family are sorry for DH having to follow SW with me. Along with his presents he had a lardy cake from DD2, from DD1 a box of French Fancies and 2 bags of wine gums from the DGDs. Fortunately none of these tempt me:).0 -
Many thanks to everyone for there kind welcomes
I had my weighin tonight and lost 5lbs so very happy :j:j:j
Well done everyone for their losses:T

Hi all - went off the grid a bit at the end of last week (again!) - but not off plan, except for Sunday when I did the Great North Run so that's allowed (I'm allowing it
) - though I dread to think how many syns in all the jelly babies I consumed!
Haven't got the time to read back at the mo but 'hello!' to all newbies and 'well done!' to all losers, and 'keep going!' to all non-losers!
Yesterday:
B - Apple, coffee x3- 3 syns for sugar
D - Red lentil, chilli and chickpea soup, no bread.
T - Pasta w/ bacon, mushrooms, cherry toms and baby sweetcorn. Squeezy Sacla pesto - 2 syns, and 30g Mu lighter cheese - 5 syns
HEXA: Milk
HEXB: 5 Brazil nuts
TOTAL SYNS: 10
According to my book the squeezy pesto is 1.5 syns per tbsp and the jar stuff is 3.5 per tbsp!
Today is:
B: Mullerlight, apple and coffee (1 syn)
D - Pasta as above but with only 1 syn of cheese (3 syns)
T - Heck sausages and ...??? I'm thinking of stir-frying them somehow.
Weigh-in tomorrow and really want to get my half-stone this time!!!
Have a good day all!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning all
Had one of 'those' mornings yesterday, i.e. many interruptions, the post I started first thing was still half finished by lunchtime so I scrapped it - there had been so many new posts in the meantime it seemed silly to post it! A few of our customers like to have a chinwag when they come in, which is nice, but they all seemed to want to chat yesterday (don't they know I have forums to post on, FB to catch up on and games to play???) :rotfl:
Welcome back Mildredd  with your extra d.I'm not able to log on yet so can't see how many syns kippers and scrambled egg will be. Must be some as prepacked kippers come with butter. Also need to work out the syns for Aldi's white seeded loaf (I can't handle wholemeal bread it gives me stomach cramps)
I've just had a look on the Syns Allowed Facebook page and the kippers are coming up as free, even with the knob of butter. Eggs are also free, so you'd only have to syn any milk (or cream ) you add. The milk could be part of your HEA. Can't find the seeded loaf, but have you thought about buying gluten free wholemeal bread? You can have that as your HEB.blue_eyed_girl wrote: »Well, we will have been married 40 years in 2018 so who knows. b_e_g
It's mine and DH's Ruby wedding anniversary in 2018 as well, we must have been child brides. What date is yours?
Dillon - the cruise sounds lovely, have a great time.
Shala - well done for getting through the Scan Bran. I tried them - ONCE - that was enough, it was like eating scouring pads.
Greentiger - well done for resisting the Freddo. :TTete_en_l'Air wrote: »Hi all - went off the grid a bit at the end of last week (again!) - but not off plan, except for Sunday when I did the Great North Run so that's allowed (I'm allowing it) - though I dread to think how many syns in all the jelly babies I consumed!

Love it - and the same from me.
Have a good day everyone.

Was just in a bad mood yesterday lol, been ok foodwise but not enough veg.
Have chicken and BNS and sweet potato to do something with today. Might do a soup or a curry.
Trying to sort the shopping list for Thursday and meal plans as well. Seem to have a lot of food left over from last week - strange. I def did eat last week.0
