I had a quick look at nando and the best option seems to be peri peri butterfly chicken and regular serving of spicy rice or corn on the cob with no butter.

I went to SW last Wednesday evening with dd and had a shock as I need to lose nearly three stone to just get down from obese to overweight

DD is away this week so I will brave the scales on my own. I had lost nearly three stone last year and felt much better for it but when DH was diagnosed last August everything took last place to hospital, radiotherapy and chemo. Just beginning to recover from his funeral in May and I want to get myself sorted out a bit.

Just had two bowls of home made chicken and veg soup which is tasty and comforting as well as healthy.

So sorry for your loss, well done to you for getting yourself sorted out, wish I had been so brave so soon, instead four years grieving
took its toll and the weight piled on finally sorted myself out and am now at my healthy target.

Just remember that grief takes time and there will be down days when you just eat for comfort, that's ok, its normal ,you just have to be kind to yourself and get back on plan when you feel better.

There are such lovely helpful people on here with very big hearts
so just post whatever, whenever ,you like you feel the need to, it does not have to be about the plan, to me this is where I think Shala`s thread is unique , I am on a few SW forums but find this one gives the emotional support that others. even my consultant does not.

Sorry, I haven't had time to read back through he thread but I have STS today, which considering how much I ate whist away is OK.

I was OK over the weekend but I think I got in a muddle today.

B: figs, yogurt honey (2 syns)
L: Big salad, olive oil (2 syns) ham, cheese (25g) HEA
D: Baked beans, slice bread from 400 g loaf, egg and cheese, again. Apple and grapes for dessert
    snacks Figs, raspberries.

SO I've had 2 HEA and 1 HEB. Perhaps I should syn the ham and call it a green day?
    Seriously money saving
