Hello  apologies for being awol.. I've had a bit of a sw meltdown, I lost 0.5lb last week at weigh in and after that I just went a bit haywire  In my head, I think I've failed doing SW because I haven't been able to lose more weight before holiday, (i'd hoped to have been another stone down :() but it is what it is and I've no one to blame but myself... so I just need to get on with it

Sneaky weigh in this morning reveals 1.5lb on but I did have a massive portion of fish and chips last night so hopefully some of that will come off quickly and I've bought [STRIKE]some[/STRIKE] lots of scan bran  so hopefully that will help ;):rotfl: scan bran challenge ahead!! 5 a day!!

Definitely back to the healthy eating this week, not necessarily for the weight loss, but just because my tummy feels so uncomfortable and I've a constant headache!

Lots of poorliness - BEG hope your mom is feeling much better, greentiger your poor friend - glad to hear she's on the mend, Dillon, how's hubby? well done for not comfort eating, TIE - glad your tummy's settled down a bit.

Busted!!! ;):rotfl: I haven't been to the gym for a while, just been doing weights at home, although I've had my hair extensions out now so I can go swim again :T

Size 14 BEG! :T:T doesn't matter if other stuff was 16-18, you're now officially into the 14's! ;)

I'm with you on that one Lois, thanks everyone, I think without this thread i'd have gone right off the rails never to come back!

Great to see you back shala - I suspected you were 'struggling' and had gone a bit quiet. Reading about your fish and chips reminded me we have a Groupon deal for fish and chips at the coast - I think it is for a smaller portion which at first I thought was ok but it did cross my mind to 'upgrade'. DH suggested we stick with the smaller portions and then have a lovely ice-cream for our afters (he loves lemon tops but I would probably go for a 99). Got till Nov to use it but it might be a bit chilly to walk along the prom with our ices. :rotfl: Booking afternoon tea for this Tuesday I think. Told DS we are taking him and his GF out for a meal for their birthdays (between now and mid Oct) - he suggested we go quite soon due to their work timetables. Probably be this week so we will have meal out and Afternoon Tea together - I try to spread the naughtiness out a little bit - oh well we'll see what happens.

You are so kind Shala - saying I'm in the 14s now :D. Had sneaky wi the other morning and the scales were only a smidge away from showing a 13 again :eek::eek:

What will you be doing with the scan bran shala??? It is a bit of an acquired taste don't you think :rotfl:

Why don't you start off by having 10 to 15 syns a day and if that doesn't have the desired effect at the scales you could reduce it to 5 to 10.

I seem to recall that you have a sweet tooth - if you were eating a lot of sugary snacks you'll find that you will have to limit them quite considerably to stay within the daily syn allowance, so you may find that is enough to achieve your goal.

    Good luck.
