Well done on the decluttering lantanna - things have slowed down here while the decorating and stuff has been going on but I really need to sort a couple of coats on fleabay to make room for some new ones :rotfl::rotfl:

Pleased you enjoyed your meal out Lois and fingers crossed we are both back on it tonday ;). My only naughty so far is a quarter of a buttered scone in M&S that I shared with DH. Uptil I had that I had been syn-free and since then I have had around 2.5 syns worth of corned beef so I don't think I will be too far over. Great result with the white jeans. :T This is the first time I have worn white jean/jeggings in an awfully long time - deliberated for a long while over whether or not I was too old for them now :rotfl: Today I have been out in mustard coloured jeggings and am considering this floral coat from Sainsbobs. :D

Clicked on the linky Lois and nothing much happened :(

Too old, never I take the view that if I like it and it makes me feel good then I am going to wear it. Have a fad for collecting scarves and pashminas at the moment have just ordered this one off ebay

  • Hello! I'm back from my travels at last and so this is my first day back on plan. I weighed myself and it's not very good and I'm definitely too jiggly when I walk.
    So today I am doing:
B: figs and LF yogurt (1 syn)
L: pasta, veg and ham in cream cheese - this is 4% fat so I need to look up the Suns.
D: chicken and mushroom pies from the new magazine. I'll avoid the puff pastry and make it just syns from the cornflour.
    HEA milk, HEB?
    Planning ahead, tomorrow will be:

    B: figs, raspberries, boiled egg
L: I'm out so probably take some fruit with me and a ham sandwich (HEB)
D: beetroot risotto from the magazine.

    Sunday:
    B: bacon eggs mushrooms toms
L: roast chicken or lamb plus veg and mashed potatoes.
D: omlette or salad, something light.

I'm hoping I can give myself a kick up the backside!
    Seriously money saving

I'm a bit older than you and I have the same concerns about some things, not wanting to be mutton dressed as lamb, but IMO the important thing is how well the item fits. As far as colour is concerned, the brighter the better! I spent my younger years wearing dark colours because people said its more flattering for fatties, but now I try to avoid them.

Love that coat :heart2: it would look great with my white jeans! :rotfl:

  • b_e_g, the Freddo is still sitting out and I’m still not interested. I hope the pain eases soon for your mum. As a teacher, I was offered a flu jab every year, but I never took it. Luckily, I’ve never had the flu (touching hairy wood, just in case). My 2 slow cookers live (lids inverted, lol) in a cupboard and have to get hauled out at least once a week. The pressure cooker is further back in the same cupboard.

Sounds like I should give the actifry a go, Lois – maybe over the weekend.

Lois, Claire and lantanna, that’s great!

I brought you both back to size;) but many congratulations!!:T:T

You must be delighted lois to see a loss. I think you've been a real hero trying to stick to plan surrounded by so many temptations all summer.

Snap! but I had big fish and chips and ate all the batter!:o Had a lovely day at the coast with a friend so fish & chips is the law isn't it?? It's a rare treat for me so I enjoyed it.:D SW dinner (1 syn burger, onions, mushrooms, SW chips and peas) to add to SW breakfast so not all bad.

Haven't done meal plan or a shop for next week yet but good (SWwise) weekend planned.
