Well done on getting back into those jeans BEG! Love it when you keep something you like and it pays off!

The decluttering is still going on in my house.

Masie! I have star issues! I'd love to think that it will only be 7 days but every time is a surprise! A full month the last time!!! Yes I have an appointment on Monday with a gynae at the hospital lol.

Mrs Ryan, I was very very bloated after my op for a long time and lived in leggings for ages.

    Morning all :)

Had a lovely meal out last night, suffice to say it was definitely not on plan, although there was plenty of speed food. The main course came with salad and new potatoes and the salad took up half the plate, it made a change from the usual amount that's really no more than a salad garnish.

Had a great NSV* too - I wasn't sure what to wear and decided I'd try on my white jeans out of curiosity, and they fitted! It reminded me of the cropped trousers that I was celebrating getting into earlier in the year, and I realised I haven't worn them at all this summer. They are quite smart so I wouldn't wear them at work, and whenever we went out somewhere that involved dressing a bit smarter, it wasn't warm enough to wear them. We're going to friends for Sunday lunch so I may put them on then. It felt great to be dressed up last night and I realised how much of a rut I'm in, always wearing the same things.
Well I should be sat firmly on the naughty step today as I went totally off the rails yesterday. :o Anyway, a line has been drawn and I am back on it today ;)

I'm right there beside you on the naughty step! Day One today and determined to undo any damage done.

Had a bowl of fruit for breakfast, all speed with the exception of blueberries (which should be) and natural yogurt. Just remembered the figs - does anyone know if fresh figs are speed?

Lunch will be salad, and dinner is LO chilli pasta bake with added ratatouille. I've got some Quorn peppered steak in the fridge that we might have with the salad but I'm not sure if they're free so I need to check that.

    Have a good day everyone.

    LL :)

What Blue Eyed Girl says about being able to measure ones success by the fit of ones wardrobe rings true here too!

I first started to notice my jeans were falling down, then I had no more notches on my belt to tighten, so I has to cut 2 inches off the belt so I could use it again.

The final clothes miracle was being able to fit back into the wardrobe, that did not fit due to weight gain, it is as if I have a new wardrobe for free, rather delightful.

All this took about 4/5 months, so it is worth staying focused, and treating the SW way as a lifestyle change, and not a quick fix.
I really see how it has changed my relationship with food (even if I was not really that bad before), I just realise how much extra hidden fat I was consuming, and I now eat my greens :)

    Fantastic forum...
