Hi all
Welcome Claysam What a brilliant weight loss.
Lush I had an STS a few weeks ago when I felt I shouldn't some times it takes longer then a week come off keep at it and see what happens at weigh in next week.
Today I've had my first real challenge while been on slimming world my husband has epilepsy and today he has had a small seizure so both had to come home from work and look after him. It's just part of our life that we have to deal with but when it happens I still get upset but hold it together in front of him however pre slimming world while he's sleeping I would usually head for the cupboard and comfort eat I am really resisting the urge to do that as its a habit I have go in to its taking a lot of will power.
Trying to keep myself busy and not thing about foodSlimming world Journey 2 stone 9.5lb loss:T0 -
I dip in and out of this thread and I post a weekly weigh-in update. So far since January I've lost 3.5 stone which is great. I've still got about a stone and a half to go. I'm going it alone so I use the wonderful folk on here as my support
Is it me or does anyone feel the cold after weight loss? For the past week or so I just can't get warm. This time last year I was so much heavier and I think it was keeping me warm!0 -

Yes!! I'm always freezing! I'm not as cold now as when I was in the target area - 2 stone ago but yes!0 -
Posting on here's a good distraction Dillon, and think how good you'll feel when you DON'T do comfort eating.:A
:T tete, 2lbs is a good loss and I think it's SW's version of s*d's law that it's very common to just miss a shiny. Next week's you'll probably smash it and be well on the way to the next one!
Welcome claysam, you're making amazing progress:).
So pleased your friend is picking up greentiger, hope she makes a full recovery very soon:).Saver-upper wrote: »I don't usually have 2 HEB's a day,but I think as a target member I can.Since reaching target this time,I have not had any advice from group re how to maintain (and not keep dropping......),but this is what I had heard
Sorry, yes, of course you're right. There is a leaflet around somewhere about target members but because I choose to have extra syns/off plan meals instead I'd forgotten there was an 'official' way.:oI saw someone this morning who last saw me a few weeks before I had my operation. They said How are you feeling and in the same breath I can see your looking great anyway. Hooray for a NSV!!
I'm making Austrian Hash again today as for the rest of the week I'll be pushed for prepping time so it'll be freezer food for supper.
Today's EE plan:
B:NAS Grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk (and saving a bit for cheese on the hash)
L: fried potatoes, cold meat, runner beans (YS in Asda meg)
Austrian hash with chorizo and veg (cauli, broccoli).
Syns: chorizo, squirt of HP sauce0 -

Hi all
I've been really bad, since I rejoined a few weeks ago I've been on plan for a couple of days a week at most. I've put on even more weight and I've been hugely bloated from the op- I went shopping and sobbed for ages when even some size 20's didn't fit right. However I bought some other size 20 stuff which absolutely drowns me and that I'm pleased with- I still have size 18 stuff which is ok, mercifully. At the weekend OH took three enormous bin bags of my stuff to the charity shop- including my Jack Wills joggers and t-shirt and quite a lot of my Hollister stuff which I was heartbroken at but weight loss is very slow at the moment and I need the space for stuff I can realistically wear. I'm really glad that it's now getting to the point where I can hide behind huge jumpers, and I can't bear my jeans as my tummy is too tender- that said though I wore a pair the other day and couldn't keep them upI'm living in leggings and softer jeggings- I've discovered some in a 20 from Matalan that were so comfy I bought up every pair they had in a 20- 4 pairs
with the addition of a huge jumper with a zip up the back I'm sorted
Not weighing in at usual group which would be tonight, I'm going to another group on Saturday morning. I've given myself killer blisters walking so I hope I lose something!I've been on plan for the longest time I have in ages- three days!!
Here's today's menu plan.
B: Raspberries, f/f fromage frais, 1 Muller Greek cherry yoghurt (1/2 syn) teaspoon of choc shot (1/2 syn) cup of coffee with HEXA
L: SW sweet potato curry, strawberries with tablespoon choc shot (3 syns) pint of NAS Ribena
Snack: 5 fish sticks, pint of NAS
T: 4 x Quorn Thai Fillets, tinned toms with garlic, tinned mixed veg. Pudding will be mango chunks if they ever defrostif not I'll have a YooMoo lolly for 3.5 syns)
S: HEXB x 3 Ryvita Hint of Chilli, 2 x Laughing Cow Light blue cheese (HEXA) chicken chunks, bag of hoops and crosses (4.5 syns)
Syns: 12 (if the mango chunks don't defrostif they do it will be 8.5)
Body magic: 45 minute walk
Ps I've developed an addiction to ChocShotis it obvious
xx
