Chart for this week
SOTW* is.... :T:j:TGREENBEANIE:T:j:T with a loss of 3.0lbs!!
Congratulations!
Just to explain the SOTW as I know there are a few high losses this week which don't quite make the cut...
SOTW will be the person who has lost the most weight this week, but also had a loss or sts last week. A few of the higher losses are new starters to the challenge so don't qualify sorryMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Well done on your losses Saver-upper and orlao :T:T:T
Thanks lantanna the boost bar went down a treat - kept it in the fridge til it was quite firm and then 'tried' to savour it and I must say it was worth every one of the 12.5 syns :rotfl: I think the standard boost was my favourite oneTotally agree on Asda clothes - if you see anything you fancy it's best to get it as when you go back they will be sold out. Had loads of emails from companies over the last few days telling me they all have lovely jackets/coats in stock so I think I will have to bite the bullet soon and get myself into the shops and have a look around.
We have SOTW fruit basket Abbafan - members are asked to bring a piece of fruit each. If someone doesn't have anything suitable to bring, they have brought maybe a pack of the savoury rice/mugshots or the like. Our consultant usually provides the raffle prize and she comes up with some lovely ideas - usually ingredients for recipe or other theme.
Hope you feel better soon wiz.
Thanks for the chart shala :A and congratulations Greenbeanie on SOTW award :T
Sure you will be back in the zone soon Candyapple and shift that holiday gain. The 'local' had a lovely way with words but as you say probably meant well :rotfl::rotfl:
Had a very hectic day and pleased to say that Mum had scan and doesn't appear to have dvt. However she will have to go back to drs to see if they can find out the cause of the pain she is in. DH made a lovely turkey curry tonight using one of the Muller Coconut and Lime Yoghurt. There was probably enough for three servings but I was so hungry we had it all between us too
Got funeral tomorrow of an elderly friend and have been asked to go back afterwards for some food. As it will probably be around 1.45 when we are eating - I think we will make sure we have plenty to eat beforehand and just try to pick and choose from whatever is available.
Catch up with you all sometime tomorrow.

Lorne Sausage is a square sausage no skin just sausage meat and very fattening but delicious on a white roll lol.

Thanks for your replies about the SOTW basket.
We can put tins or fruit in. I have even seen the SW cereal bars in there.
We are quite a new group and the one week we had some new members, so not everyone was aware of the SOTW basket. I put a tin of beans in and once I had done that, there was a pack of Ryvita and 3 tins of beans in there.
Our consultant does a raffle, which usually a recipe book or some pampering item. Plus we sometimes have vouchers on the table for the SW meals (the burgers are lush!).
Am getting used to the syn values of everything. Have discovered those Mikado biscuits, they are 0.5 syns each for the milk/white/daim and 1 syn for the choco king ones.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -

Don't peel it!
Either cook it whole or cut it in half (skin on) and bake it or microwave it. It's very versatile and I'm sure you'll be glad you made the effort.

I can't see it on the list. I'd guess 4.5 syns for a slice from 800g loaf based on similar bread.
Back to the raffle: our consultant organises it (orders fruit and veg from greengrocer) but she doesn't pay for it herself. That's from the previous week's raffle money.
:T to any losers and beware the sugar monster!
Good to have you back candy. I return to a resort in Turkey like that where we know loads of people both Turks and visitors. Staying at our hotel is like a big house party. Great fun:). 4lb's not a bad holiday gain, hope it comes off soon.
I really must try BNS, I feel I'm missing something. Why 2 HEB's saverupper?0
