Hi, just a quickie.
Do you all have a slimmer of the week basket, for those that go to group every week?
What do you put in the basket normally. Any new ideas apart from Beans & tinned tomatoes?
Have a good day all!

Well done BEG!! Happy for you!! :j:j:j
Talking of coats, I have a lovely long red coat which I def need to slim down to wear again so that's more incentive right there.
You have just reminded me of my most favourite coat ever. It was a beautiful red wool duffle coat. Always got loads of compliments from people and strangers asking where I got it. Unfortunately, I was in a bad "fat" mood one day, and threw it away because it had got too tight. It would have fit me again by now (dropped from 18/20 to 14/16). Might treat myself to one this year.Abbafan1972 wrote: »Hi, just a quickie.

Our group only seems to use fruit, but a previous group I went too accepted ANYTHING free. So rice, pasta, mug shots ect. It was a HUGE group to so we used to love SOTW there! Like a weekly shop! :rotfl:
Now forgive me for asking, I've seen lorne mentioned a couple of times. What is it?? Just being nosey :rotfl:
Still in a goof mood from last nights weigh in... So todays plan is:
Breakfast: Shreadies (HEB AND HALF HEA)
Lunch: Omelette with a little grated cheese on top, beetroot, onions (OTHER HALF HEA)
Tea: Jacket potato and beans (I think)
SNACKS AND SYNS: Apple, grapes, satsuma, and syns undecided! But gonna have full 15
Have a good day everyone!

I've seen people put in options hot chocolate sachets etc and the individually wrapped green teas. Tomato Puree, Packets of fresh soup veg, stock cubes / pots / herbs / dried noodles / pasta. Sugar free Jelly pots / Jelly packs / Sandwich thins / Jars of pickles / All sorts of things!!
I used to love getting it when it was a real random mix up of stuff!
I was never that glad of the fruit as it was always past its best and generally just oranges and apples!0 -

Morning
Another lovely day here - will be out and about in the sunshine this afternoon, so no Meerkat movies again this week!
The talk about the SOTW basket at group brought back memories of my days of going to class. Everyone took an item of free food and some of it was great - unusual fruit or vegetables or something new to try, but some people would put past its best fruit in that was only fit for the bin (cheapskates!).
I've got a coat that I'd love to fit into again too - it's probably out of fashion now but I loved wearing it when it fitted. Trouble is, I wouldn't get much use out of it in Spain! :rotfl:
Love the singing swede, I'm going to try that, much easier than peeling and boiling it. Also I didn't realise you could eat BNS skin - I'll try leaving it on next time I roast it.
Well done Beg - 8.5 stone is an amazing achievement.:T
And well done Spuddysue, Dillon, CP, and Saverupper.
Have a good day everyone.
