We have fruit/veg baskets for the raffle. Consultant has them made up at a local greengrocer. They're OK. The SoW basket is anything low syn or syn free that people want to bring. I tend to just go in the cupboard that morning and grab a tin of something or a box of passata of a pack of savoury rice. Like lois says there is some real carp in there sometimes and not very much considering it's quite a big group.
:T on your unexpected loss saver-upper.
I'm out for a carvery tonight. It's not a bad meal for SW and I never have a Yorkshire. Problem comes when I'm hovering over the roast potatoes, fortunately they're at the end of the counter so hopefully the plate is pretty full by then.;) This is first of three meals out this week so thank goodness I'm not planning to go to WI.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold meat and LO veg and pickled onionscarvery
Syns: scrape of spread, wine syns.:o0 -
Enjoy your meal maman

wow I'd forgotten how fast this thread moves!
Couple of tough days over the weekend; I try to relax over the weekend as its our family time so the last thing I want to be doing is spending more time away from bf and wonder bairn whilst I cook! Still went better than previous weekends and though I had a little Chinese on Saturday I had syn free chile on Sunday and yesterdayand I spent the weekend pottering around doing all sorts of jobs so hopefully I've not done too much damage - will see when I weigh in tomorrow before work!
I've
Most evening meals for our caravan trip now planned: gammon steaks with salad/new pots and veg, cottage pie (1syn per serving) with extra veg, chicken kiev (morrisons cheese and ham, about 12 syns I think) with salad/new pots, chicken nuggets (5@1.5syn = 7.5syn) with salad/veg, also have a couple of meals sorted for bf/wonder bairn where I'll have something different. There will be a few treats as its our holiday but hoping to still be relatively well behaved and make educated choices! Plus there will be lots of walking, exploring and playing to be done!
I would say I'm about 50% in the zone right now. Sort of 'good start but could do better' territory.
I shared a pic on the Facebook group - not sure how to share it to here but a loss of just 1lb a week from now until Christmas in 17lb gone. Knowing that motivated me slightly************************************

:rotfl:
I think you're doing well lush and it must be hard to get properly back on track with all you've had going on. Have a great holiday and then draw that line and all systems go for Halloween and then for Christmas. I thought you were off the chicken kievs?0 -

Thanks maman, I am still finding it really hard. No idea why really and suddenly I feel like I need sugar/to snack all the timepraying its just some phase my body is going through. I am going to have to start bringing no money and no debit card to work though to make sure I don't buy any more rubbish I think!
The kievs were bf's choice; it was garlic butter ones that were a real let down so I'm hoping these don't go the same way! That said as there's only two in a pack I'll probably share with little one anyway so as not to be cooking more than necessary.
Going to take plenty of eggs with us then breakfast will be scrambled egg and beans without without bacon, omelettes etc so that I can use my HeB bread for picnic style lunches I think.
We have training tomorrow night and I don't want to stumble again and get something from the chip shop late at night when I go to get bf something so I think tonight I will make a big bowl of pasta salad then I can have some for lunch and tea tomorrow, and lunch at work Thursday. I'm thinking pasta, tuna, beetroot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, carrot, will microzap some peas and sweetcorn and chuck those in too plus a boiled egg or two. Will take a free yogurt as a 'dessert'
Can anyone help me with the syns in morrisons white with more bread? https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/product/Morrisons-Medium-White-With-More-Bread/252705011************************************

It's funny how different groups do things differently. Our group has had 4 leaders in 4 -and-a-bit years. The first one only did SOTW,which was a fruit bowl (occasional Options,Alpen bar etc,but mostly fruit). It was our 3rd leader that introduced the raffle to us.Bowl of fruit is still for SOTW,raffle will be something the leader has bought: maybe basic ingredients for bolognaise(puree, passatta, bag of pasta),or a set of measuring cups and spoons to keep us all measuring mayo, milk, etc, accurately. One valentines week I won a set of heart-shaped silicone moulds for baking. When the weather was hot a few [STRIKE]decades[/STRIKE] weeks ago, prize was ice-lolly moulds.Other prizes have included those nets that you cook ships on to keep them crispy, and "chip makers",that you make potato crisps in microwave with.
That Oreo ice cream I had yesterday and found (to my amazement) to be 5.5 syns,,I checked the discarded packaging today,It was not a 55ml ice cream (I was aware that it seemed very big for only 55 ml),but 135 ml.We'll call that 13.5 syns, then.Good job I need fattening up this week, cos I had another one this afternoon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Reporting in with 2lb loss this week.
TBH I thought it would STS or a gain after the epic chippy fail last week so I'm relieved really.
Well done to the losers and the STSs, hugs to the gainers - are there even any this week? :beer:0 -
Phew found you all!
Hi again slimmers, my hols are now over and I'm back on the SW wagon from today. I was expecting a gain in double figures but surprised myself with a 4lb gain. And my clothes still all fit which I'm more than happy aboutI'm hoping this won't take long to shift now I'm back on plan. We go to the same resort in Corfu every year so we have local friends there and also holidaymakers who come back every year so it's like a big annual reunion
and a few commented on my weight loss which really spurred me on to keep going. Some not so tactfully one local said to me "wow you're not a big girl any more" :rotfl: yeah thanks for that
he meant well I'm sure!
So for the new challenge I'll be a bit more realistic and aim for 7lbs please shala
Sorry I've not had time to read through everything but well done all losers :T big hugs to any fellow gainers / STSers.
Hope you all have a great week :cool:0
