Hello claysam, nice to meet you. That’s a very impressive loss!
I like your suggestion about clothes, b_e_g. They are def not getting any tighter (phew!) and some are def looser (yay!). And this week 3 people have asked if I’ve lost weight (more yay!) so things must be going in the right direction.
I hope you managed to get that doc’s appt sorted out for your mum.
My friend has been moved out of ICU today; I think she’s already noticing the change to less attention, e.g when she slips down or to the side in bed, it can be while before it’s noticed. But there is more movement in her legs again.
Well done, Tete, Claire and Dia Pita.
Syns bank: 70
Wednesday’s syns: did not choose wisely for lunchfish in crumbs – I did scoop the fish out and leave the crumbs, that’s a first for me - a very small portion of chips (very dry/not greasy) and peas; followed by a 1” square of carrot cake, a 1” square of tiffin, a 1 ½ “ scone with half tsp jam an a tsp cream. I did do my best to minimise the damage (other than not eating them).
Syns balance: ???
I think I’m going to have to call it an off plan day, one of those when you say you need 30 syns instead of 15 or whatever. I’ll try to stay under 10 syns per day for the rest of the week.
Thursday
Breakfast: hexb muesli, apple & pear
Lunch: LMcC roro sausages, beans, banana
Dinner: hexa macaroni cheese (8 syns)
Snacks (choose from): Milbona fat free yogurt, 1 Garibaldi (2 syns), fruit

Well I'm pleased (kind of) to report a 1/2lb loss taking me back into my target range. Really felt cheated by it though considering I've stuck rigidly to the fast forward plan for four of those days and stayed within the limits of the normal plan for the others. Weight has been weird since I came back from holiday with the 9lb gain....first week I lost 2.5lb, then 3lb and in the last two weeks, I've only lost 1/2lb:(0

That's good to hear wiz.:)
Sorry you couldn't find us Claire but pleased you're doing well.Hi
I WI last night with a whopping 5lb loss :j
So back on track.
Fantastic Loss!!:TWell I'm pleased (kind of) to report a 1/2lb loss taking me back into my target range. It is harder when you're close to target but persevere and you will lose even if it's slow. Just like being bad, being good catches up too.;)
Good to see you again MrsR. Hope the soreness clears up soon. You seem to be slowly getting back on plan. Keep plodding.:)
I use my jeans as a guide most of the time greentiger. I have one pair in particular that always let me know if I've been greedy. The good (?) thing about jeans is that they highlight all my danger areas like tum, thighs and waist which I could get away with in leggings. I probably only weigh once a month and never (when getting to target) more than once a week.0 -

I have got jeans back out greentiger as they are a good guide (agree with maman) - whilst the leggings are comfy it can be too dangerous to stay in them too often. The jeans I have out now I bought years ago in M&S sale (£5, size 18 and lovely dark blue) I kept them even when I was size 26 and I always said I would get back into them and I have :j. In fact, I should probably have a belt with them as I hate seeing people keep hitching their trousers up but there again it is probably better than seeing them falling to the ground
Re: Mum's drs appt - yes we got to see him yesterday and they said that blood clot has definitely been ruled out (phew) but the pain she is in could be advanced arthritis. So he gave her a cortiszone (sp?) injection and has given her some co-codamol to try. She was just so relieved that the scan came back clear. She says now that the only thing she will be going to drs for now is to see nurse for the flu jab :rotfl:
Don't be too disheartened teallach - you are heading in the right direction. Can I ask, are you being too strict with yourself as sometimes that can slow loss down? People do say also that loss seems to slow down as you are nearing target and once they get to target, I know from members of my class too, they keep losing even though they aren't really trying then. Good luck for this week.
Well I should be sat firmly on the naughty step today as I went totally off the rails yesterday.Anyway, a line has been drawn and I am back on it today
