    Lantana bio live 0% vanilla = 6 Syns for a 450g pot.
No mention of honey one I'm afraid.
    * please note, my directory is 2014 edition so may not be completely up to date.
Syns allowed (Facebook group) says 6 for large vanilla and 5.5 for a large honey - both for 450g pots.
    Hope that helps x

    Thank you!

    I'm going off 1.5 syns for a 125g pot.

Oh don't worry with my Epic PMT, bloating and chronic hunger with it I think I'll be up that at least too. But I will also be being a big girl and declaring whatever the gain is in the morning.

Its a new week now and we can get it off. You have done so well, you'll be back to where you want to be in too time.

    Thank you lantanna :)

Hope you haven't put on as much as you are thinking.
  • afternoon all,

so despite my best efforts at preparation today hasn't gone as well as hoped:

Breakfast: HeB toast plus 2 syns for jam
lunch: salad with 2 syns light salad cream, chocolate rice cake 4 syn

sounds alright> but I've also had a giant croissant from today's event :( a bazillion syns I'm sure.

Tea: redeeming myself slightly: salmon baked in the oven with some onion and cherry tomatoes, boiled new potatoes, baby carrots, peas, sweetcorn, broccoli :) free yogurt for dessert

got a fruit trio (melon, strawberries and kiwi) already prepped for evening snackages!

    Tomorrow:
breakfast: at an event - bacon (fat removed), beans, grilled tomato, grilled mushroom
lunch: if hungry (rarely that hungry after my friday morning events nowadays) salad again, potential a microzapped jacket spud. fruit pot prepped at home
tea: going to defrost some mince overnight and chuck a chile in the slow cooker to have with rice and fat free natural yogurt :) will add: onion, kidney beans, baked beans, chopped tomatoes, grated carrot

A couple of asides - a week or so ago I mentioned I was having garlic and herb chicken kiev and how much I was looking forward to it - it was a TOTAL let down I was so disappointed and won't be rushing to have it again!

today I went for my new patient health check at my new GP surgery; the nurse weighed me and it was 3lb lower than my home scales - mid afternoon with a reasonably heavily business dress and blazer on! I've wondered for a while about my home scales though; since moving actually, as they don't give me the same reading twice and moving them around the bathroom or even taking them downstairs to the other non-carpeted floors my weight can vary by up to 8lbs!

:T to greenbeanie, dubbya and lulu for losses and you too shala!

tweets I think you should stick to the chips and curry sauce, you lose with that.;)

And greenbeanie, I think you'd best just go and enjoy your tour of India. Obvious things to avoid are bhajis and naan and maybe stick to small portions. What a fabulous trip.:)

lush, I'd stick with what the surgery scales say. Would they be willing to weigh you every week?;) Shame about the kiev as you were looking forward to it. You'd be better off doing chicken wrapped in bacon or with Philly then you'd know the syns. I see you're adding yogurt to your chilli. Cottage cheese is really nice with chilli too in place of sour cream. I've always got some in so I use that.

sue, chick peas don't count as Speed veg but they do count as protein so very good for you.

This is the recipe that b-e-g posted.

Austrian Ham and Potato Hash - syn free on ee - serves 4 (or 2 greedy so and so's :p)

    Frylight
    1 onion, roughly chopped
    2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    4 celery stalks, roughly chopped
2 x 300g cans peeled new potatoes in water, drained and roughly chopped
340g can lean ham, roughly chopped
    1 tsp caraway seeds
    1 tsp sweet smoked paprika
    2 carrots, coarsely grated
175mls chicken or veg stock (we used 150mls)
handfuly fresh flat leaf parsley finely chopped

Spray large frying pan with frylight and place over a medium heat. Add onion, garlic, celery and pots and stir-fry for 6-8 mins or until lightly browned.

Stir in the ham, caraway seeds, paprika, carrots and stock and cook for 6-8 mins or until the veg are tender and most of the stock has been absorbed.

Scatter over the parsley, stir well and serve immediately.

Top each portion with a poached or fried egg.

I tweaked it a bit. I added sliced mushrooms and used my own potatoes cubed and almost cooked with thinly sliced carrots. I used cumin instead of caraway and added 15g of chorizo as I only had a small tin of ham. Instead of serving it straight from the pan I put it in a dish and reheated in the oven. Then I served it with veg on the side instead of eggs as my DH doesn't eat them.

Back with my menu for today.

Unfortunately I've had lots of syns too as I had a sandwich at lunchtime: smoked salmon and cream cheese and it was on granary. Salmon and cheese is OK so I suppose another could be worse meal.:)

    EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: sandwich
    D: SW spaghetti Bolognese
Syns: squirt of syrup, Parmesan and sandwich:(
  • :grouphug: for those who've gained. I hope you have a bette week.

Shall for what it's worth I think you've made the right decision. I have to say now I'm weighing at home and doing SW I have a much healthier attitude towards weigh ins. I used to get so worried about going and would stop eating and drinking from lunchtime onwards before my evening class:eek:

Now I weigh first thing in the morning with no clothes on so there's no excuse that I've got heavier clothes on etc. and then I can just get on with the rest of the day. I also used to have the night 'off' after weigh in and often had a takeaway or chocolate and the attitude used to last several days sometimes!

Anyway enough rambling today I've had
Breakfast - wholemeal roll and bacon (he)
Lunch - chicken breast with loads of tomato and cucumber topped with grated cheese (he)
Dinner - hairy biker chicken korma (1/2 syn) and SW szchezuan spiced aubergine (1/2syn) with rice
