So here I am with
6 lbs on this week please Shala
It is what it is. That's what the scales say.
Hopeful its mostly pmt bloat. I'm having a horrific PMT this week. Got my gynae apt in 2 weeks so will be talking about my weight as well with him.
Anyway onwards and upwards, will just keep going and not be defeated. Hopefully that clears off next week.
Its Fizzy Friday! Can't believe I've actually got the Fizzys down to one a week! I don't even think of them now coz I know I can have one on a Friday. I'm a mindless drinker and eater. Pepsi Max I've gone for today.
Have Cauliflower rice to make something with tonight. Might join you in a curry Tweets
Never mind lantanna we can get our weight gain off next week
I enjoyed my mushy pea curry I added broccoli and cauliflower when I served it :T0 -
Pleased to report a 1lb loss this week, despite going away last weekend. I know that there is no way I can be described as slim (about another 9 stone before that could be said!). But I am feeling slimmer, less bloaty and breathing is easier. It has led to me feeling more confident, especially at work. I am really looking forward to seeing how things change over the next few weeks /months. xxQuidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

Just catching up on Eat Well for Less.. I can't believe that lady is so lazy she can't cut cheese  :rotfl: they seem a nice family though, hope the programme helps them feed the children more healthily..
I like that programme and I loved the family in the first of the series - she was convinced she couldn't cook, but then made oven chips that didn't look that great but the kids loved them and she was so pleased with herself you couldn't help but like her. The kids amused me too - one of the boys was adamant he wouldn't like anything different, the other boy really enthusiastic about trying things, and the little girl just didn't care and tucked into everything with a shrug.
When the programme was on before it was repeated on Sunday afternoons, so it's worth looking out for it if you missed it.

That is horrific, Saver! They’re not even the kind of shoe your boy would want to wear away from school. Can you speak to school management about this? What is their exact definition of a “school” shoe?
Well done, Sandhy and suewre.
lantanna and Lois, what goes on can come off!
Ha, ha, shala, I had the same bra thought as you!
Syns bank: 74 ½
Friday’s syns: lunch out was tomato & basil soup with a chunk of bread, followed by spaghetti Milanese with chicken (which turned out to be a breaded chicken breast!) and salad – and a wee bit of shortbread that came with the tea. I’ll count all 15 syns for this.
Supper will be hexa cheese on hexb toast
Syns balance: 59 ½
Saturday
Breakfast: bacon & tomato hexb sandwich
Lunch: baked potato with beans & hexa cheese, some kind of yogurt yet to be bought
Dinner: gingered pork casserole, potatoes, carrots & green beans
Snacks (choose from): Del Monte raspberry smoothie lolly (4 syns), WW lemon slice (4 syns)
Enjoy your weekend, everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Hi guys.... Can I come back please? Re-joined on Monday, would love to lose 9lb by halloween if I can come back. This will bring me down to the next stone. Not had a good week for first week back. Major PMT. Just binging too much.
Hope everyone is well.

Ah I meant to record Eat well for less last night - raging!
She was a lazy madam but a lovely family none the less. I wondered if she was doing SW as I spied Frylight in the cupboard!Pleased to report a 1lb loss this week, despite going away last weekend. Great to have you back CP and we're very familiar with PMT issues this week in particular. Good target to see a new number.
Not a good result for Scotland tonight greentiger. We have a soft spot for Gordon as he took us to FA cup final. You seem really in the zone, syn bank seems to be a good focus.
Strange day for me. Ended up missing lunch but did show restraint eating just 7 Mikados which would have been exactly the same as usual chocolate but more 'biscuity' so made a change.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA mil for drinks
L: nonesausage, mash, onions, cabbage, carrots, peas, gravy
Syns: gravy, Mikados (3.5), weekend wine:j
My Friday Fizz was a lovely Cremant de Jura from Aldi lantanna, much better than Pepsi Max!!0 -
Good Morning
Welcome home CountingPennies :hello:0 -
Just popping in to say 'hello' and I haven't forgotten this thread - I'm just away from home now and dependent on free dodgy wifi for Internet and eating out and hostel breakfasts for food. I am keeping to SW as much as possible (full English is free if you take tomatoes instead of sausages, right?!!) but it is super difficult. Even stuff that would be low syn if I cooked it at home I suspect is high calorie in restaurants (and expensive!).
Anyway, I've got a week more then back home.
Nice to read through how others are doing though!Seriously money saving0 -

To be fair I was with her on grating cheese, I can't stand it , always get OH to do it if I can :rotfl:
I thought she might be doing SW when she had salad instead of sandwiches at the picnic..I didn't notice the fry light..
Welcome back counting pennies
Had a quick flick through the magazine last night and I love the American South recipes that are in there so they're going on the meal planner this week :j anyone tried any yet? the pork tenderloin was on offer at Morries so got that coming tonight so will try the BBQ pork tomorrow..
The cupboards are bare until the shopping arrives though  so not sure what we're eating today..
OH has to go get glasses today so we usually go for a c0sta while we wait for them, anyone know if I have a hot choc made with skimmed milk I can deduct 6 syns for the hea?? It would only be 1.5 then...Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Morning
Popped into our local Morrison's yesterday afternoon and yet again, they didn't have any 5% mince. This has happened for the last few weeks, but with our long hours we've sometimes gone later in the day when they might have sold out. Anyway this time, I decided to ask a member of staff and he said they've stopped doing it because there's no demand for it! There's an active SW group in the area so I can only assume they all shop at Tesco, which is where I went.
Shala - I think you'd be ok to have your hot choc for a HEA plus 1.5 syns. If you made your own hot chocolate at home you'd only syn the chocolate powder so why not.
Saverupper - I can't believe the school are so fussy about the shoes. They should be clearer about what they expect the children to wear. Maybe if you have a word with them and tell them how much they cost, they'll allow your son to wear them for a while so you can at least get some wear out of them.
Countingpennies - welcome back.
Have a good day everyone.
