What on earth are you getting done in the hairdressers Counting Pennies? 4.5 hours

Yeah gonna to have to get something to wear for the 5th of Dec BEG. Its just in a bar so doesn't have to be something overally dressy. Not really relishing the thought of going out to look for something for it as it will just be an unpleasant reminder of the weight that I have put on. Going to leave it for a couple of weeks at least and hopefully can get at least a few pounds off before I start to look.

    Yay for Friday! :T

Oh btw Beanie I think its great how you've turned things round are now getting losses every week again. You must be really pleased! I am hoping to follow your lead

Can anyone help me please, I've got a large tub of "full fat natural yeo valley yogurt" & can't find the syn value for 100g.

I've decided to give up on the mullers with all the aspartamine in them giving me bad headaches

    Is it this one?

Yes that's the one but my tub says 500g

Is it only 2 syns the whole tub? As that would be amazing
Or is it 2 syns per 100g? Which is still very good

    Says..per 100g

    4.2 fat

    6.5 carb
    4.6 protein
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Mirry. Just put the info through the syns calculator and it's coming out at 4 syns per 100g. I've assumed there's no Free food in it as can't think of anything which would be Free.

The syns directory says 'Yeo Valley Organic Bio Live Yogurt Natural (500g pot) ' is 7 syns for the whole pot. I'd think that's likely to be the right one. If you went with the higher syns then you'd be quids in. Perhaps try it for a week and see how you cope (health and weightloss):).

    Hello everyone :) (waves)

I've been missing in action the past 10 days thanks to DH's birthday celebrations - not his fault really, you're only 50 once!

Last Saturday night I guzzled my way through several cocktails, strongbow dark fruit, beer and wetherspoons interpretation of rose wine (looked more like watered down red!) and scoffed a chicken burger too.....needless to say the next afternoon when I finally emerged from my pit I had the hangover from hell......

This Monday we went up to London which included 4 days of eating, drinking and lots of shopping and walking. On Wednesday we worked out we walked at least 5 miles around the Oxford Street area.

We got back late last night and I discovered I've gained 3lb since my last weigh in....much less than I thought I had gained so I'm ok with that. I'm not counting today as I need to go shopping and don't fancy it in this dodgy weather so I will get back on the SW band wagon properly tomorrow

Have a good Friday all :)

Well done sandhy, look forward to hearing about your next shiny:T.

I've done my meal plan and shopping list for the week and off to Aldi shortly. I'm trying to eat from the freezer to clear some space so having quite a high syns sauce tonight. Worked out that oil, honey, sherry and some cornflour:eek: would be about 5 syns each portion using my smallest tablespoon;). Thank goodness the soy and vinegar are free!

I noticed that the pulled beef in Bourbon sauce is a weekend offer in Lidl. If I can (and they don't run out) I'll try and get there tomorrow as there are some other bits I need. It's 1.5 for the whole pack. I think it was b-e-g who tried it. I'm still cross with Tesco for changing the recipe on their BBQ pork.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Grapefruit, kippers, HEB bread, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with LO sausage free casserole
D: Sweet and sour pork casserole (carrots, onions, beansprouts, pepper) with rice
Syns: scrape of spread, 5 for sauce, weekend wine:j.

I'm getting my hair stripped and made multi-coloured (purple, pink, teal and blue)..... Thats the plan anyway. Probably won't turn out like that! :rotfl:

Ever eat anything that you KNOW is high in syns without checking but don't care and eat it anyway?? Yep thats me today! 2 chocolate pop tarts (10 syns each :eek::eek:) and a greggs ham and cheese bagette. Took the cheese out and tore the ends of the baggette off.... Might have helped a little bit :rotfl::rotfl:

Never mind.... 2 weeks without ANY sign of a full blown binge is BRILLIANT for me.
