Good for you, 1st, orlao and spuddy.
I love macaroni cheese and cauliflower cheese, maman. That’s the red cabbage recipe I use too. Mmmmmm. I was going to have a mug shot for tea this time and save the syns, but ……. I won’t, lol. BTW I won’t be having any meat today, so does that make it a green day and, if so, do I get an extra hexb? A girl can only ask! That would mean I won’t need a synful snack!
b_e_g, try this fish pie recipe. http://www.giventodistractingothers.co.uk/2011/09/philadelphia-fish-pie.html Easy peasy and very tasty, syn free using hexa. I wouldn't make any other now, even if I was eating whatever I wanted!
Thanks, shala. I won’t change my target, but I WILL be working hard to beat it. Jings, that’s scary! I’ll post WI on Tuesdays to slot in properly.
Pleased to hear granny’s doing better now, Tete.
Forgot to post earlier, but I decided I could have the extra hexb, so having toast & jam (1 syn) for supper. Hope I’m right. (chewing lip – hmm, is that syn free?)
Syns bank: 99
Tuesday’s syns: 2 Garibaldis (4), macaroni cheese (8), jam (1)
Syns balance: 86
Wednesday
Breakfast: bacon & tomato hexb butty
Lunch: omelette with ham, onion, peppers & salad, WW summer fruit yogurt
Dinner: chicken kebabs, SW chips & dip, apple & pear slices sprinkled with cinnamon
Snacks (choose from): choc digestive (4 syns), Del Monte raspberry smoothie lolly (4 syns), Kit Kat (5 ½ syns), hexa babybel light & fruit

Hello All
Been to class tonight I have lost -3.5 (SHALA) which took me to my first 1/2 stone award I also got SOTW at my class so really good week. After last week then I STS I think it could of been two weeks of weight loss.
This week I have nothing at all planned so hoping to get my stone award within the next three weeks. I am making sure I set myself realistic goals this time as I used to set myself unrealistic goals and then when I didn't hit them I gave up I am not doing that this time
Off to bed now early start in the morning :-(Slimming world Journey 2 stone 9.5lb loss:T0 -

I am signed up on slimming world online and regularly check in but over the summer holidays it has gone to pot and I have put on quite a few pounds! I don't have a group here to go to and feel a bit alone sometimes.
Everything is almost back to normal after the hols although I am away for the whole week next week settling my son into university (and having a bit of a city break!).
So it will be time then to focus on getting back on track and shifting the weight - can I sign up for 9 pounds please? Realistically I won't post much next week but knowing I have somewhere to come back to will focus me. Thanks
Mountaingirl :hello:

Can anyone help me please - which supermarket may sell the less than 5% fat pork mince please. Have seen a recipe for sweet and sour meatballs and fancied trying them out too.

Hiya
Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Joee for SOTW. :rotfl:
I've spent all day feeling hungry for some reason, but I've resisted snacking and tried to ignore it in the hope that my body will start using up fat stores! I hate being hungry though and hope it doesn't keep me awake. Might have some fruit.
The cinema trip has had to be postponed for this week, my car is making a strange noise so it's going to the garage tomorrow.
Cauliflower cheese has disappeared from our menu too, we both love it but it just seems to be too expensive in HEs and Syns. We do have fish pie, I make the hairy bikers version from their diet cookbook, leaving out the white wine. They use cornflour and milk for the sauce and it has grated cheese and breadcrumbs on top, which I've calculated at 12 Syns for the whole thing. Not sure if the recipe is available on line, it might be worth googling it.
The hairy bikers were on the One show earlier, and they seem to have regained the weight they lost - maybe they should write a sequel!
See you tomorrow.

Will have to look that one up Lois too. If its anywhere near as good as the HB Steak it will be worth giving a go. Are the 12 syns between 4 servings - if yes, I don't suppose that will be too bad.
I seemed to have a few hungry days last week and I just couldn't work out what I had done differently. Not been too bad so far this week - long may it last. :rotfl:

Last minute running around for school uniform bits today (tights, mostly). Then at about 4.30pm ,8yo DD decides that, actually, she does need a new school bag for tomorrow.(This was not what I was told when I asked all 4 children last week if anyone needs a new school bag
).Anyway, tonight I went to pay a bill online, and realised I must have left my debit card in the machine after I paid.I will phone tomorrow morning to see if the card has been kept safe for me.Meanwhile, online,I have transferred (what little money is in the account after spending what must be over £400 on school uniforms in the last 3 weeks),into a different account.Such a faff I don't need....................
