Well done on making the meal plan kaz, planning in advance is definitely the way to go. All I'd say is that although I'm sure it's in your head it could help you to write down all the Speed food you're going to include to make sure you get that essential third.:)hello all
Please have a look at what Ive had today so far and tell me if this would be like a SP day. I feel stuffed but think I can still have a HEA and a HEB. Is that right. Thanks in advance
breakfast: Bread 1 hex b couple of pears
lunch: Fish meal from sainsburys 5 syns
Lots of Green beans
4 Linda mc cartney sausages
Lots of Pears, apples, black coffee , water throughout the day.
You're right about the HEXs on EESP although not essential if you're not hungry. I'm not sure about the Linda McCartneys as they're not lean meat or a recognised protein substitute (like some quorn products). If they're the Red Onion ones they're free food so not really true SP. If any of the other flavours then syns but tweaking SP a bit like having a synned yogurt when free yogurt isn't in the SP plan IYSWIM. Fish meal should be OK if it's just fish and veg and no free food.
SP plan says that if you really fancy some free food then go for it. It won't be 100% SP but the principle is that the less free food you have the better the weightloss boost but any cutting back will help. HTH.0 -
Hi all
Had a busy Friday and Saturday but okay SW wise. Had a chinese takeaway Friday night but had been syn free all day and I took the lowest one that I liked - chicken with mushroom and brocoli - 9 syns and plain noodles - free. No wine either - wow go me!
I also had the baked oats from the website for breakfast on Friday and they were so good. I don't like porridge but could eat these quite happily.
saturday was on plan as had a huge sw breakfast totally syn free with one HeB used and then had fruits of the forest and yoghurt for lunch. Dinner was chicken marinated in a spicy marinade with home made coleslaw - sw version.
Today however is my downfall as it is without my control. Having a girly day out with my mum in lieu of my birthday. We have booked to go and see Suffragette and then we are having a cream tea at Patisserie Valarie which we arranged ages ago. Looking forward to it but will be synful! Having omlette for breakfast and will take a hifi bar with me for when we stop for a cup of tea/coffee before going to the cinema.0 -
Hi All!**Waves** Been MIA for about a week as the parents have had to move out whilst their place was being decorated so the week has pretty much consisted of working all day then eating out with them each night (not SW friendly either :-()whilst they've been living in a hotel! Back on the wagon this week with SW and exercise as off on the cruise 3 weeks tomorrow! Can you put me down for a STS for this and last week please Shala?Debt free 2018

Maisie, enjoy your afternoon tea.. don't worry about syns etc it's part of your birthday celebrations, they don't count
I haven't prepared a menu again todaywhat's that motto "fail to prepare, prepare to fail"! Really need to sit down and make a plan for the week.. Nothing sorted today so no clue what I'm eating but we're just off into town so I've had a quick banana and a satsuma.. I hope the satsuma is speed..
See you later with a meal plan, hopefully.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hi all,
Just realised that I forgot to report 4.5lb loss last week but that was a solid week of being very careful as I knew that this week was going to be a 'bad' week with lots of meals out and I'll be very grateful if I get a STS this Tuesday's WI!
I've also signed up for another 6 months online membership - I know you lot are fantastic with help, advice and keeping people on the straight and narrow - but I do use the website daily and love the weight loss planner to meal plan so decided despite the fact that it's not very :money: to invest.
Anybody who needs any syns checked or wants a recipe, just shout - I'm happy to pass on the info :j0 -
Morning all,
Today has started well - I cooked a mahoosive fry up for breakfast / brunch earlier consisting of eggs, cubed potatoes, red onion, tomatoes and mushrooms. DH had bacon with his, I declined as it was streaky and I didn't want to waste syns on it.
We're both stuffed after all that so we're not even thinking about lunch or dinner today - however I will be making butternut squash soup later so may have that with some breadThey have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
