Welcome back Maman. It's been years since I went to Malta but loved it when we did go. We tend to only go across to France, Germany etc now that we have the motorhome, which of course we both enjoy and also means that we get away most weekends.

We were supposed to be going away this weekend but the forecast for where we were going isn't looking good so may not bother and just stay at home.

Aitch29 - I've got both laptop and tablet but have to say I much prefer the laptop for most things. The tablet is OK when we go away in the motorhome but at home I much prefer to use my laptop with its' bigger screen! I also use YNAB which you need to have on a PC in order to be able to use in on a tablet or phone so it's a necessity for that too.

Still need to do a bit more shopping as forgot to buy a couple of the most important bits for sticking to plan - mushrooms & tomatoes!

    Having another EE day today:

B - scrambled eggs on WM toast (HEB); couple of plums
L - jacket potato & beans; banana; apple
D - 2 butchers burgers (1 syn); onions; 60g WM soft roll (6 syns); orange

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

Syns - burger; roll; couple glasses of wine

I know there isn't much in the way of Speed foods but haven't got much veg in at the moment just a big bowl of fruit!

I def would have cried as well. That sounds awful. A flat tyre always sends me into a total spin. Hugs. Hopefully you will get a nice peaceful weekend and get to recover

    So Plus one for me!

Totally understand why, Caesar salad and chips last Saturday, Indian takeaway last Sunday and a chocolate binge last Wednesday or Thursday. I also have the same issues as BEG at the minute. My bodies just not been the same since the whole gallbladder debacle.

Anyway moved on from it now and keep trying.

Off to the hospital on Monday to get the coil fitted and really really hoping that doesn't send me off binging once its in.

Off to work out todays foods! Funds are dire so really have to think and pull a rabbit out of a hat so to speak in terms of food out of the cupboard :rotfl:

    Well done sandhy.:T

I'm really looking forward to the day you have a great big loss lantanna. I think your persistence is amazing. It seems like your body is taking such a long time to return to normal after the op.:A

Shame the weather doesn't look too good for your weekend denise. Do you use motorhome through the winter too?

I've done my meal plan and shopping list and today my trolley will look like I'm holding my own Harvest Festival! I've plenty of meat in the freezer so mainly just need veg to make meals. Aldi Super 6 looks good this week so won't be costing me too much either:).

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs
L: probably vegetable soup unless I've been shopping first
D: Austrian Hash (inc. celery, onion, carrots, mushrooms) with broccoli
Syns: squirt of HP, 1.5 syns of chorizo in hash, weekend wine:D

    Hi guys..

welcome back maman  glad you had a brilliant time!

Hi turningacorner, once we've finished the Halloween challenge we'll start the xmas one (which means xmas will be even closer than it is now and I haven't lost any weight or started xmas shopping ) Stick around anyway, always nice to have more people on the thread :D

:T:Tbrilliant news Meg.. hope you get good weather, have a wonderful time x

Liz  what a day, a few fish fingers was a good end to the day I think! i'd have been on the phone crying to Dominos :rotfl: Hope today has been much better and less spendy!!

Sorry Psychobabble - I knew you'd lose it that's why I didn't add it on  :rotfl: (I've added both on now :) apologies for missing it)

I've had two days off plan (what's new free-rolleye-smileys-323.gif) but today I've managed to keep on track. Went to Iceland earlier so I've picked up a new Tikka sauce to try tonight, hope it's nice.

Couldn't manage anything for breakfast this morning, I've had to go to a new hairdressers and I hate going anywhere new so I had a bit of a nervous tummy. Just had a banana when I got back, which I know isn't speed :(

    Menu plan for today then
    B - banana
L - pasta, chicken, peppers, onions, tomato puree, Cajun spices, 20g cheese (part hea)
T - salad bowl to up my speed, chicken tikka, rice, poppadoms(4) & mango chutney(2)
S - milk in tea (part hea) apple

Off to the dentist in a bit :( only a check up and my dentist is lovely but I still hate it.. fingers crossed there's nothing wrong!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

I put on a half pound on Wednesday and have been having lots of speed foods as well as sampling lots of tasters that night. I had not realised how spicy some of them were or that the curry was "mushy pea".

Took older dd out shopping yesterday and were starting to eat lunch when I had to go and visit the ladies ( several times) :o:o:o
Realised that eating a huge portion of vegetable and pearl barley chicken broth a couple of times a day coupled with other speed foods then all the taster currys was a lot more dramatic in its effects than I expected.

I may have to spend today close to home and keep to liquids and bland food (if any).

Your shopping trolley sounds like mine did this week! Have all the meat in the freezer for the month and some towards next month as well. Just the basics of bread, milk, yoghurt plus loads of fruit. Need to go out tomorrow and get some more veg. Only veg I've got at the moment is half a cabbage; a swede; half cucumber; couple of spring onions & a pumpkin (only 50p in Morries!) reckon I'll easily get at least 4-6 portions of pumpkin & spinach curry from it!

DH is picking up some mushrooms on his way home from work to have with our SW fry up in the morning.

Yes we do use our motorhome throughout the winter and most years we head to France or Germany for Christmas. Last year we went to some Christmas markets including Brugge, Achaan & Cologne and had a great time.

This year we're off to France mid December until New Year so no doubt we'll do a few French christmas markets!
