Denise, I know exactly how you feel. Maintaining persistently when you want to lose is really annoying. However we are doing something right to maintain. Hopefully you lose your holiday gain and I start losing again soon
Maman, good to have you back glad you had a good time
Meg, really really pleased for you! You enjoy yourself, you deserve it.0 -
I've never noticed those sausages on offer before Maman! Thanks for pointing that out!0

Today has gone totally wrong.....
I started the day with good intentions having scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast. Lunch was a ham salad sandwich from work (it was made with wholemeal bread so I can claim a HEB)
Tonight I was meant to be meeting my college buddies for dinner however my car had other ideas....just two miles from the motorway this morning I had a tyre blow outIt didn't cause me to swerve off the road but the noise and rattling it made when it went freaked me out - as well as the poor sod behind me who was trying to avoid my shredded tyre whilst flashing their lights furiously at me.
It took an hour for the AA to turn up, by which point a very nice man had stopped and changed the tyre for me, but I didn't fancy driving the car as the spare looked so ropey. AA towed me to Kwikfit where I waited two hours for them to check and change the tyres front and back.
I've just got home and am thoroughly fed up - even had a little cry when I parked up out of sheer frustration.
I've missed college today and had to fork out close to £300 for AA membership and new tyres.
Needless to say I now have no idea what to have for dinner - HELP!They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Welcome back have been waiting for you to come back to post this so you didn't miss it I have now found a lovely new man and am being thoroughly spoilt, lol that's a first for me. I have been dating 3 different men for the last couple of months but really liked this one, problem being be lives 70 mile away. Well we`ve talked it over and think the way to make it work is if he spends a few days with me here and I spend a few with him so hes gone home today and is picking me up on Saturday to take me to Southport for the week, land of fish and chips so expecting a gain next week :rotfl:but don't care as I am really happy.
Oh thank you so much. I'm so pleased for you:A. I'm sure we'll 'talk' tomorrow but if not, have a lovely time in Southport. I stayed there a few years ago when I went to a wedding in Burscough. You'll have to get him to show you around. I like Liverpool and Blackpool's good for a quick kiss;).
lantanna, although someone posted it, as far as I can see the BGTY sausages aren't on offer. I'll check in the shop but it's not showing on line:(.
I did end up in the 6 chip restaurant tonight. So reasonably on plan: 6 chips with steak and roasted vine tomatoes and a bowl of pea and ham soup to start. Probably oil somewhere but otherwise good. Shame about the wine syns;).
Not surprised you went a bit off the rails today liz, sounds like a nightmare. So draw a line, start again tomorrow and try to rein back on syns if you can. You probably can't afford to pay for any more treats anyway!!:rotfl:
Tomorrow I'll do my meal plan and shop and stay 100% on plan until next meal out on Tuesday. I envy you living on Malta lois, lovely place. I liked the cheese pastizzi too and the meat but I have missed my roast with loads of veg so that'll be on the menu for Sunday.0
