Got my 2st award today.:j:j
Does anyone have any ideas with tinned sardines and mackerel in tom sauce, apart from on toast?
I don't buy bread as it takes up too much room in my freezer - only have a f/f freezer!
This afternoon, I will be stocking up on Sainsburys BGTY fresh sausages as they are £1 for 8 and 1 syn each. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Afternoon all.... i do SW and would love to join a thread. Do you think they'll be a new challenge for Christmas? I feel I'm a bit late for Halloween, especially being away next week for half term... but feel up for a Christmas challenge!less is moreDebt free goal: £158.27/£5647.13, savings goal, £0/£1000, nest egg goal: £100/£5000

I like to have tinned sardines as a topping for baked potato.Slimming World at target0 -
Started a reply and lost it:mad:. Will try again now.
ScarletMarble, I'm not keen on tinned fish other than tuna so don't actually eat tinned sardines or mackerel, however DH likes them with a salad during the summer but far too cold for that now.
Welcome Turningacorner to our SW thread. I'm sure there will be another challenge after Halloween. Shala, who keeps the chart for us will post about the new challenge once this one is over. It'll probably be from 1 November - just before Christmas.
If you have any questions feel free to post them there is usually someone around who will be able to help. You might also like to post up your menu daily - this can help keep you on track and also give others some new ideas.
There's been a change of plan for me today! My friend at group gave me a Peanut HiFi bar so that takes care of my HEB, but of course means I'll have to use syns for an Alpen Light or some biccies with a cuppa this evening if I fancy something sweet.
I decided to get weighed after all, thought it best to see if I had gone out of target but was lucky it was a STS, although I have to say I'm getting a bit fed up with not losing any of my holiday weight yet and I've been back since 20 September.
I really will have to watch the number of syns I have over the weekend, although there won't be any eating out this weekend so that should help. I'll also have to be careful Monday and Tuesday as my sister is visiting and we're going to France for the day so will definitely be eating out on Tuesday.
Here's to a good week .

:wave:back from my holiday. We had a great time, very interesting place and the weather was amazing. Food was mainly Italian. Some good stuff like fish, fruit, pasta and salads but far too much bread, chips and the Maltese equivalents of pasties called pastizzi.
Hope all OK while I've been away and congratulations to all losers:T.
I won't be going to WI until next Thursday so it'll give me a chance to get back on plan and lose any gain. Two meals out in that week including tonight. It won't be my choice so but may be the '6 chip restaurant', will report back later. Today so far I've had SW breakfast (beans on toast) and lunch (veg soup and an apple).
Looking forward to catching up on everyone's news. I did notice that BGTY sausages are on offer so must stock up on those. ETA: not showing as offer on mysupermarket:(.
Back soon:).0 -
STS for me please shala but expecting a gain for next week as going away.Slimming World at target0

Welcome back have been waiting for you to come back to post this so you didn't miss it I have now found a lovely new man and am being thoroughly spoilt, lol that's a first for me. I have been dating 3 different men for the last couple of months but really liked this one, problem being be lives 70 mile away. Well we`ve talked it over and think the way to make it work is if he spends a few days with me here and I spend a few with him so hes gone home today and is picking me up on Saturday to take me to Southport for the week, land of fish and chips so expecting a gain next week :rotfl:but don't care as I am really happy.Slimming World at target0
