Good for you, Pennies, dillon and jps.
Where is your cruise taking you, dillon? Enjoy.
Hope you had a good outcome at the doc’s, lush.
Tete was that the tooth or the refresher you ejected, lol?
Well I’m happy to report a 2lb loss this week – wipes out the 2 x 1lb gains from the last 2 weeks. I don’t think I’ll be as disciplined while I’m away as you, dillon, but my intention is to be “in control”. Thanks for doing the chart, shala.
Today I had:
Breakfast: ML coconut & choc sprinkle yogurt with a banana
Lunch: turkey sandwich with lettuce leaves and sliced apple (wrinkly, lol) and a clementine
Dinner: Thai prawn coconut curry (2 ½ syns), boiled rice & coriander.
Snacks: 2 ginger nuts (5 syns), very small slice of hm olive bread, 50/50 white/wholemeal (5 syns). 3 mini babybel & grapes
Total 12 ½ syns

Christmas starts at SW this week - you have been warned. Anyone buying 10 week countdown until the end of October will receive 12 classes and a free Christmas recipe book. If you bring a friend to class too, you will receive a free week.
Got another busy week ahead, but I will still try to stay on the straight and narrow.

Not looking good for tomorrows weigh in, I'll take the hit and be as good as gold from now on.
Normally at this point I'd just give up (1lb gain last week, likely gain this week too) but I'm chuffed with my results to date and know another week of following the plan will see it coming off again.0 -

It doesn't really matter what you take as long as it's Free or low syn. I've got a few things I rotate for tasters including Half Syn roulade (although I make it Free by not putting in the baking powder, it makes absolutely no difference to the roulade); SW chocolate brownies; cumin scented falafels. If you don't want to cook but just buy something then FF natural yoghurt with strawberries or a low syn dip with veg sticks. Hope that gives you some ideas.

Just been through the fridge and decided on today's plan. It'll be another EE day:
B - bacon, egg, mushrooms, fried up potato & cabbage
L - smoked salmon, crabstick & cucumber sandwich, mayo instead of spread (HEB + 2)
D - beef stew (cooked in SC yesterday), mashed potatoes.
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.
No other syns planned.

Brill, thanks Denise. Had another think about it last night and I might do onion bhajis. Been meaning to try them for a while but not got around to it. Seen two very different recipes for them so far, do just need to pick one!0

My soup is not having dynorod effects  Quite the opposite actually.
Talking of Dynorod BEG, did you try the pomegranate? I feel your pain at the getting nowhere these days. Look how well you have done though, just keep going, pain in the backside as it is. Just gotta try to keep focused. Looking back at my weightloss I had long periods where nothing shifted and then finally it would. So frustrating when you get to that stage when you aren't losing every week despite trying your best.
I had such a good week last week and then got a sts at the end of it all and hit the chocs and takeaways in a huff. Don't do that. I might change to a fortnightly weigh in. Don't know just playing around with ideas at the minute as getting beyond fed up.
Re: Gaining weight, I know I left group and didn't put on very much ( I was too thin at one stage) and it took me ages to put on about a stone which I was happy enough with really. I've since put on just under another stone with being unwell etc and out of action for so long. Its not so much the putting on that is my problem but losing. Just can't seem to lose. If there was a prize for the biggest maintainer it would be me!:rotfl: Even at group I used to get 10 weeks in a row of being the same weight.
Personally as I know its for life I like to just manage it myself because I will have to. I got very stressed with the whole going to group every week and getting weighed and listening to it all. It kind of became everything for me and that's where I am trying to change things and get more of a balance. I went religiously for nearly 2 years and it was a lot of pressure as well - being pointed out every week as the star. I used to hate dehydration Thursdays as I called it. The number on the scales would generally dictate my mood for the rest of the week. I think that the Women of the Year District Competition kind of finished off my love of Slimming World classes really :rotfl:
Think its all about getting a balance and whilst I def want to be slim I want to enjoy my life and food and not let my mood be dictated by the number on the scales. That's where I am now really.
Anyway I went to the gym last night, so that's a good start to the week as I never go on a Monday.
Tellach - Anything at all goes, soups, sw lasagne, cottage pie, fruit kebabs, low syn cakes, fruit teas, flavoured coffee, diet fizzy drinks, crustless quiche, fruit salad.0
