Well done BEG a definite NSV. Don't think I'd have been able to resist everything - definitely not the fish which I'd have taken the batter off (I don't even like the batter) and would only have had a few chips as I find chippy chips soggy - much prefer SW ones:D.
Also would have had a glass or two of red!
Having another Green day:
B - after WI (still undecided whether to weigh or not, will weigh myself just before leaving in about an hour and then decide!) chicken drumstick, skin removed (HEB1)
L - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB2)
D - HM curry based on a pumpkin & spinach recipe but I'll be using squash & chard/rice. There will be a couple of syns in it as I'll be using 100ml of light coconut milk but not sure how many portions my squash is going to make as there is far more than the recipe calls for so I'll just increase the amount of HM curry paste (Free) I add.
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day.
Syns - coconut milk; will keep syns low to give me extra for the weekend wine:D.

Well done BEG that showed strength!
Taking myself in hand! Maman That is def what I need to keep doing :rotfl:
Have an excellent holiday and enjoy the wine!
NSV here, size 12 trousers are now comfortable again :T0 -
CP, I think that tracker is a great idea for the syn bank.
The Green plan isn't in the latest book but it is on the website. Here's the link but you may only be able to use it if you've got access to the website.
http://online.slimmingworld.co.uk/downloads/green.pdf
You'll need to use the old version of syns online too as that gives values for Green. That's on the website too. Chicken is 5.5 syns for 100g on Green if you want extra to your 70g for a HEB.
Have you tried roasted red onions? They're lovely roasted with a bit of Frylight. Just cut them in segments and put in an ovenproof dish. They take about as long as SW roast potatoes but you can speed it up by pinging them in the microwave first for a couple of minutes. If you like it a pinch of sweetener and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar is good, sort of caramelises them.
Thanks for the tips Maman, I do have online access so I'll give it a look. However I know I have some older books somewhere in the house so I'm going to check there too.
Thats how I make my red onion at work sometimes! Its lovely isn't it? We call them caramelised onions on the menu too so it definitely caramelises themDon't have a microwave at home, and I do my sw roasties/chips in the actifry so unless I have the oven on I won't be doing them. Wonder if I can chuck them in the actifry??

Brilliant idea, which one did you go for in the end?
Not really much choice in the app store for Apple, its simply called Quick Points. Set to 30 when you load it (must be made for ww pro points) however there is a question mark in the bottom right corner. This changes the setting so it starts at 99 to count back. So last night when I was having a bad shift and 2 slices of pizza snuck into my mouth I deducted the points straight awayOn a plus note, I didn't eat the cheese filled crusts, they picked the smallest pieces, and I didn't like watching the numbers go down so quickly when I was eating it so I stopped :rotfl: So, I think using weekly syns may work for me as opposed to daily (against sw advice I know). Plenty of people do it tho
So..... Syn bank currently stands at 63 for the rest of the week! I'm off work today, so I'll be sticking to plan 100%!
BREAKFAST: Shreddies (HEA and
LUNCH: Ham, new potatoes, egg white, beetroot and pickles
TEA: Jacket potato and beans
SNACKS: Grapes, strawberries, apples and oranges
SYNS: Hi-Fi bar.... and rest, if any, to be decided later.
Have a great day everyone!

today:
breakfast: banana and porridge (heb + part hea) hot choc - not sure on the syns of this one but its 40kcal per serving so I'll go for 2. It Morrisons NUME stuff. never noticed it before today!
Lunch: I'm nipping home to treat bf to a kfc lunch before he heads off to camp then straight in to next weeks tournament. not worrying about syns as I'll flex it in over the time he's away with plenty of low/no syn meals
tea: just me and wonder bairn. we are having meatballs and pasta. think I will just use tinned tomatoes rather than a sauce as I don't really fancy a bolognaise type affair. Will add mushrooms, onion and peas me thinks
other syns: 2nd hot choc later one at work, probably a couple of choc digestives when we have an afternoon cuppa and natter at our desks
Going to hopefully attempt the red cabbage recipe this weekend at last! budget it very tight this next few weeks so going to make do with what's in the house. easier with bf away as I can make a big pot of chile which will do a few meals, will also have some jacket potatoes with toppings, chicken and rice (all the stuff he doesn't like/thinks is boring!)************************************

Went to weigh in last night with and dd and after last week sulking because I had maintained - I found that I had lost one and a half pounds this week :j
I am trying to be sensible and realise that because I am older and have been on and off daft diets for decades as well as being hypothyroid that weight is unlikely to shift as quickly for me. Better to lose slowly (if frustrating) and keep going than to see saw wildly and then give up.
DD has come back from Greece and bought me a bracelet with small blue beads and tiny turtles on it to protect me from "the evil eye". Wonder if it will protect me from scoffing mindlessly"This site is addictive!"

Morning all
Lovely sunny day here but quite chilly, just hung out some washing and my fingers are so cold I can hardly type!
CP - do you work in a restaurant? It's hard to stay on plan when you're surrounded by food, I work in a shop/cafe/takeaway and have the same problem. Did you go for the hot chicken sandwich? The thought of it made my mouth water!
Denise - hope your scales gave you the news you wanted to go to WI.
BEG - well done for resisting all temptation, you did better than I would have.I usually use my full allowance of 15 syns but will try not to today...depends how snacky I get though
Hiya  welcome to the thread. Never be afraid to use all 15 syns, they are to make sure you don't feel deprived of the treats that don't fit in to the plan and if you don't have them you may feel deprived at some point and then there's a risk of bingeing. Good luck with your goal.
Well, it's been another one of those mornings with lots of interruptions, so I'm going to post now while it still is morning!
Have a good day everyone.
