wiz is right that Green days don't need to be so heavy on veg CP. What it means in effect is that you have 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs but you'd have to limit your meat/fish to a small (like 70g chicken) HEB portion or use syns for more. I did wonder how you eat onion.

Its red onion and picked onion I eat :o I can eat lots of pickles which has been pointed out to me on here are speed so I try to eat more now :rotfl: Red onion i eat at work, when i make pizza thin. I put loads on with chicken meaning my pizza is free if I haven't used my healthy extras. Sometimes I make 2 tho because they aren't big and if i'm working 12-14 hours I need more fuel :rotfl:

EDIT: Forgot to add, not sure If I could do a green day, as I eat alot of meat. I'm gonna weigh 70g of chicken to see how much that is. Like the idea of an extra healthy extra. Where would I find the green plan? Is it in my white folder?

    Hi all

Well didn't go to class last night as OH and DS1 are away on a residential trip and I have DS2 at home. I had booked a holiday last week so will declare a STS this week.
Have to say that due to knowing that I was not going to be weighed this week I went totally off the rails
So I really need to get my act together this week so it does not show as a gain next week. Plus it is only 11 weeks weigh in to my xmas weigh in so need to get a boogie on to lose the stone I want to lose before then.

So menu plan for today is:

breakfast: toast and jam (1 syn and HeB), fruits of the forest berries and yoghurt, DG cafe au lait (2 syns)
lunch: prawn with pasta and marie rose sauce (1 syn for mayo), tomatoes and cucumber.
dinner: chicken curry with onion (4 syns for sauce), SW wedges, tenderstem broccoli, and baby corn (strange veg I know but just using stuff up as there is only 2 of us here lol)
    syns - 8

Planning on making a pot of spicy carrot and lentil soup tonight as I was sorting out my kitchen cupboards and found loads of lentils - must have gone through a lentil phase at some stage - well buying them anyway given how many packs I have it does not appear that I have actually cooked with them:rotfl:Off to google some more SW lentil recipies!

Congratulations to all the SOTW. You're all doing so well.

I'm still struggling a bit but hopefully will be OK after Thursday and I can start my syn bank again!!!

    Plan for today is Green:

    B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB1)
L - carrot & coriander soup; slice of bread (0.5 HEB)
D - spanish rice (scraps of chicken (0.5 HEB - doubt there will be 35g!); chorizo 2.5 syns (higher than on EE)

HEA will be milk in tea as usual.

Hello all, checking in really quickly, have had a busy week with three days in Cardiff at the weekend for the half marathon, and feeling like a headless chicken (and a legless one now too).

Reporting a loss of half a pound this week please Shala.

I don't know whether I posted my WI last week or not as I hadn't updated my sig - last week lost 1lb.

So that's a total of 9lbs lost, 6.5 of which count towards the challenge. Sorry to be a PITA :D

I've really slowed down in the last three weeks, must get my mojo back. I was overjoyed when I found figs in the shop last night (I know they're not speed...) - something different from apples! But then someone told me the reasons they're not considered vegetarian and now I don't want them anymore :(

Anyway, I'm thinking lots of hearty veg stews over the coming weeks if I'm to get anywhere near my target by Hallowwen :o

  • I've just been searching the app store for a points tracker. Decided that way when I eat I can countdown my weekly syns. I'm hoping that keeps me on track, watching the syn allowance go down lol. It only goes up to 99, but my crisps last night were 6 so I've just not counted them back. I just think this way, if I go over, it will be easier for me to keep track.

I'm not vegetarian but I need to know, why aren't figs considered to be vegetarian?

I need a big nudge quite often as I have a lot to lose and it can seem daunting when I think about it.[/QUOTE]

Welcome! We all need a nudge every so often trust me!!! Or a poke with Shalas stick.

How much would you like to lose? I lost 6.8 stone, not to be boastful and I'm over it anyway lol:rotfl: but I always tell people who have a lot to lose as an encouragement as it can be done and I would never have believed it if someone had told me! I'm slowly trying to crawl back to target now after illness and losing my motivation etc. We are all in the same boat, just trying to be the best version of ourselves.

I don't like the look of Figs. Don't think I could eat one. The vegetarian thing puts me off too. There is a guy Charlotte goes on a date with in Sex and the City and he eats a fig in a most rude manner and that also sticks in my head any time anyone mentions fig :rotfl:

Got in a little huff last night. Was sat thinking 5 of us went out last Halloween. A year on ones just had a baby, another is pregnant, one met her boyf that actual night and the other has got a new man / changed her hair dramatically and totally come out of herself.

Nothings changed for me, I've gained nearly 2 stone and spent most of the year sick with a dodgy gallbladder and all the joy that brought.:rotfl: I was happier last Halloween than I am this one.

    Then I ate today's HE b in protest :o:o:o

Anyway onwards and upwards next year will be better. :rotfl:At least it was only the HE b I ate too and wasn't over at the Chinese.

Really suffering from wind and have trapped wind up in my shoulder. Not reacting well to the increase in veg / fibre again thanks to the gallbladder or lack of one now. :(

Oh and on another happy note, I stopped at the park before allowing myself to go home and must have trailed the hem of my trousers through dog !!!! as they are absolutely stinking rotten and I nearly passed out when I lifted them today so had to squeeze myself into the 12s :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Lead me to the weekend wine!!!! and a new week of syns. That's is all :rotfl:
