  • Hi all

Just got back from a meal with friends I picked the healthiest choice so stayed on track.

Got weighed today and Ive lost 2lb Shala also I am on holiday not next week but the week after I think that's week 8 .

I am 5 pounds off both my 2 stone award and my club 10 and really wanted to do it before I went on holiday but with only one more weigh In I think I will be just short. I am hoping to not go off track on holiday I am going on a cruise and have been on this ship before so know what kind of food will be on the ship and think I will be able to stay on track with a few treats so hopefully only a few weeks till I get them awards

I've stuck to plan 100% today, feeling pleased. Used my syns on a crisps sandwich after the gym so I feel like I've had my treat.

    strewth :hello:

Grab a chair and a :coffee:

    Glad you found us :D

Can't believe you didn't know about this thread I have in the past posted links on the Elite :p

You will notice a few Elite members on this thread ;)

Hi tweets  I miss loads of the elite posts and only get to catch up here and there. Got a poorly sick little man at the minute :( I have to make more of an effort with sw as I have found it manageable mostly and I prefer a lot of the sw recipes to my old way of eating. Ds2 turned 7 last week and the Birthday cake was too much to resist....then we went out to eat and he chose Five guys at the Trafford Centre, no healthy options there! :o

Then don't think about the whole amount you have to lose, split it into chunks and concentrate on one chunk at a time :D I think that's where the challenge helps a bit as it breaks down our main targets... I've added you btw, welcome

The first chunk I would like to lose is from my beehind please :rotfl: Thanks for adding me, definitely got to lose the big picture and concentrate on the jigsaw pieces. Will pop on in the morning for my little nudge :)

Good for you, wizkid, nomojo, Liz3yy, lush, Pennies, b_e_g, orlao, dillon and Lois.

    Hi, Arkers and strewth!

Congratulations SOTW quintuplets, dillon, Lois, orlao, roland and suewre!

Not a good sporting week for you, tweets :(

Well, I’m slinking back in and skulking in the corner – it’s +1 for me again. I’m scunnered with myself for being stuck in this cycle. And today I’ve done nothing but *eat and sleep and eat and eat and repeat from*! Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

    And here goes …..
Breakfast: hexb Weetabix, fruit salad (grapes, apple, kiwi, strawberries, clementine, plum, aronia berries)
Lunch: LMcC roro sausages, onions, tomatoes, yogurt yet to be bought, lol
Dinner: spaghetti squash with mushrooms & parmesan, beetroot & broccoli
Snacks (choose from): WW lemon slice (4), baked stars (4), 2 x Garibaldis (4)

    Good luck everyone.

:Torlao and Dillon on your losses and welcome to strewth:).

wiz is right that Green days don't need to be so heavy on veg CP. What it means in effect is that you have 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs but you'd have to limit your meat/fish to a small (like 70g chicken) HEB portion or use syns for more. I did wonder how you eat onion. My DD1 likes onions with a roast. I wrap one in foil and put it in the oven alongside the potatoes and meat or at the carvery they have roast onions. They'd be quartered and sprayed with frylight. And I adore fried onions, had a heap of them tonight with my burger:drool:.

You're not getting much luck greentiger, infuriating!! Good for you plodding on.

Fridge and vegetable baskets are now almost empty so I'll be scratching around for a menu tomorrow.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi, am I too late to join this times challenge? I've been slacking and need to get my head back into it!

As we just have a few weeks left I'd like 3lbs - that would take me down to the next stone.

I'm going to try the new SW meals and soups and follow SP for a couple of days a week. Hopefully that will start me off again :-)
  • 1lb gain this week, didn't do as well as I could have done for a couple of days last week, so happy to have got away with it.
