How much would you like to lose? I lost 6.8 stone, not to be boastful and I'm over it anyway lol:rotfl: but I always tell people who have a lot to lose as an encouragement as it can be done and I would never have believed it if someone had told me!

You boast all you like. You're a star!! I think the way you're taking yourself in hand and getting back to it is amazing. We've all heard stories of people who lost weight then put it all back on again. You're not one of those!!:A

Tweets had warned me about the stick....might need the boot as well some weeks :D

Here is my plan for the day

Brekkie: shreddies and a clementine (heb)
Dinner: sw chips and egg and a muller greek yog 0.5 syns
    Tea: Shepherds pie and broccoli

Syns: muller layers 3.5 syns and a pack of space raiders 3.5 syns
hea is milk for shreddies and cuppas

I usually use my full allowance of 15 syns but will try not to today...depends how snacky I get though :o

Thanks for the lovely welcome :A

Sadly it's not just the boot and stick but there's a Speed cop after you on here too. Me!!:D

Looking at your menu I'd say you definitely need more Speed. It's lunchtime that's the problem. If it was me I'd put tomatoes and mushrooms in the oven with the chips for the last 15 mins. Or you could have pickled onions and beetroot if it's easier or just Speed fruit as snacks. I'm guessing you've got onions and other veg in the Shepherds pie so dinner should be fine.

CP, I think that tracker is a great idea for the syn bank.

The Green plan isn't in the latest book but it is on the website. Here's the link but you may only be able to use it if you've got access to the website.

You'll need to use the old version of syns online too as that gives values for Green. That's on the website too. Chicken is 5.5 syns for 100g on Green if you want extra to your 70g for a HEB.

Have you tried roasted red onions? They're lovely roasted with a bit of Frylight. Just cut them in segments and put in an ovenproof dish. They take about as long as SW roast potatoes but you can speed it up by pinging them in the microwave first for a couple of minutes. If you like it a pinch of sweetener and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar is good, sort of caramelises them.

Last day on plan for me as we're away tomorrow for 6 day break. The cupboards are looking very bare or rather the fridge is so freezer food mostly today. Will have SW breakfast in the morning and then that's it. I plan to enjoy whatever I fancy and worry about it when I get back.:)

    EE menu for today:
B: NAS Grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: lentil and veg (carrot, leek, onion, celery) soup
D: SW spaghetti Bolognese (onion, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, celery)
Syns: scrape of spread, Parmesan (although not had much milk today so may not count it all)

:rotfl: loving fig-gate but  glad I don't eat them..

Weigh in day for me today, 0.5lb on.. pleased with that as only 2 days fully on plan and 5 days pretty much completely off!:o I've put on 4lbs since getting to my lowest weight a little while back (on holiday so allowed :p) so that needs to come off with a few more before xmas..

I'm going to try the new SW meals and soups and follow SP for a couple of days a week.

Let us know your review of them, I might try the tikka sauce and OH may have the lentil soup but the others don't really appeal...
Where would I find the green plan? Is it in my white folder?
    CP xx

I'm not sure they put the green plan anywhere now, it's definitely not in the new books :( although I vaguely remember there being a small pamphlet in our packs somewhere.
I've just been searching the app store for a points tracker. Decided that way when I eat I can countdown my weekly syns. I'm hoping that keeps me on track, watching the syn allowance go down lol. It only goes up to 99, but my crisps last night were 6 so I've just not counted them back. I just think this way, if I go over, it will be easier for me to keep track.

    CP xx

Brilliant idea, which one did you go for in the end?

The Green plan is still on line - just click onto the "Classic Food Diary". I use it most of the time as I mainly do a combination of Green and EE.

I'm certainly not going to be bothered by the "fig" thing - I can't see the wasps so I won't worry about them:D. Having said that I won't be buying any more soon as the Aldi offer finished today, LOL!

Have just totted up this weeks syns and am definitely well over 105 for the week - will have a quick check on my scales in the morning and then decide whether or not to WI tomorrow (the joy of being a target member:D).

  • Didn't get a chance to pop in yesterday as we got a phone call to say that family travelling from hols would like to break their journey home and stay at Mums overnight and they would be arriving within the hour . It was decided on a visit to the chippy for tea but I am so pleased with myself as I did my own thing - Batchelors Savoury Rice (curry one) with added veggies and eggs baked in loaf tin :p. Had it with baked beans - no chips. Later in the night when drinkies and nibblies were being consumed, I consumed a packet on Asda low syn crisp things (4.5), sugar-free lemonade, sparkling water and tea. When I got home after midnight I had my two ryvita, feta cheese with a cup of tea :D. Whilst everyone was tucking into bacon butties this morning for breakfast, I had bacon, tomatoes and a couple of fried eggs (mum doesn't do mushrooms :rotfl:) - I felt so virtuous :rotfl:

Anyway enough of all that. Thanks for chart shala and many congratulations to our gang of SOTW :T:T:T:T

Well done everyone on the lovely losses that are rolling in too :T:T:T

I totally agree :o For the first few weeks I was cooking speed soups for lunch but got fed up of soup :( I ended up having beans with my egg and chips, not something I have often for lunch but had a fancy, really need to make more of an effort to up the speed foods...never thought of having pickled onions as speed. Will definitely get some in, my shepherds pie had onions and carrots in :)

Thanks for the speeding ticket, I will try not to be a repeat offender :p

First weigh in for 2 weeks and 1lb gain :(:( No big surprise.

Off to find something inspiring for tomorrows tea using pork steaks

    Well done, tete.

Lois, I’m scared of your bitey boot!

Hope you’re overloading on sunshine, maman; it’s a distant memory here!

Today was ok, but had family emergency so squash didn’t get made and DH and I shared a takeaway chicken Jaipuri and rice. Don’t know syns but highest I can see is 21 for the whole shebang so, I’ll count 11 for my half portion. I used my hexa as a glass of milk.
I’ll have 2 Garibaldis for supper, so that just keeps me within one day’s syn allowance.

    Thursday
Breakfast: bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms; apple, ff from frais, sprinkle of cinnamon
Lunch: tomato soup, hexb roll, fruit
Dinner: spaghetti squash with mushrooms & parmesan, beetroot & broccoli, Shape 0% fat rhubarb crumble yogurt
Snacks (choose from): WW lemon slice (4), baked stars (4), hexa cheese & fruit

    Good luck everyone.
