A NSD yesterday for me, 7/20. Today I put in some money for a colleagues leaving gift plus bought a few things from £land.

Me and OH were planning going to Aldee today but the weather was so awful and we both have colds so we decided to put it off until after the weekend and just make do with what we have in the flat. Saves a bit of money I suppose :)

A rock and roll Saturday night here curled up on the sofa with a DVD on ;)

I am actually beginning to enjoy trying not to spend money, it's nice to feel more in control of my spending.

    Yay you've got the bug!

Hope you and OH get better soon Misstara

Today was a spendy day as needed to get food shopping and went to the beauticians for my regular appointment, however I entered a little free competition whilst there and won a bag full of very expensive product samples so I'm very excited to get to use them. Also my lovely friend and her partner came round and fixed the shower :) I've also used the slow cooker that my dog sitter gave me. I made lasagne but it ended up like a lasagne soup, although it tastes great! Also picked blackberries to have with sone squirts cream I brought :) Started to find a few items to list on eb4y although I don't have many suitable possessions left. Also wobbled some receipts and put them into clicksmart :) So quite an MSE day :)

Hope you've all had lovely days

Great minds think alike. Strange to some people but music to the DFW world.

Looks like you've got the bug for wombling and Clicksnap too. So addictive isn't it. It might be a penny per receipt but it all builds up. I have £6.87 on my QC account now. And £3.70 on Checkout Smart but I am waiting til the end of 2015 before I ask for the money, or when the need arises, whichever comes first.

Sorry my post made little sense!!! It's predictive text!

It should have read 'wombled' receipts and checkout smart!

bob I made a lasagne in the slow cooker but even though I tried to keep the wetter ingredients to minimum, it didn't work, and the pasta sheets broke up and were swimming in the tomatoey/white sauce liquid with the veg and mince. It was delicious but looked like a disaster.

misstara - hope you feel better soon.

Plans for today are taking DS to his football match, he is playing at home so not far to travel, filling my car up with gas (it is dual fuel), collecting DD from camp and walking the dog.

Thanks for the well wishes, feel a little better this morning. Unfortunately I seem to be particularly susceptible to colds and usually spend most of winter with a cold no matter what I do to try and boost my immune system - just seems to be starting early this year.

I've been a bit impatient and updated my signature for tomorrow. Loan payment usually goes out on the 12th but hasn't because of it being a Saturday. Interest has been added on this morning so thought I would go ahead - so tomorrow that will be another £219.16 off the debt :D and only £60odd to find to reach my monthly target.

Today should be a NSD as I'm currently heading to work and I'm on all day. Hope everyone has a good day.

I've done that before the old school way. But have ended up standing in the kitchen scooping up the liquid with a bit of bread. Delicious.
